Reddit user selerinity has shared an interesting design for the iconic polearm - Engulfing Lightning. The weapon is a part of the famous Inazuma weapon series which was released back on September 1, 2021, during Genshin Impact Version 2.1. Fans absolutely love the design of the weapon and the Reddit thread already gathered over 4k upvotes. Redditor selerinity is known in the community for making hand-made weapon models with the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear model being another project that caught a lot of attention in the community. The fan-favorite part of this model is probably the fact that it actually has a glowing blade which is something the community wants to be implemented in most five-star weapons. Selerinity has already confirmed that another popular polearm, Staff of Homa, will most likely be their next project. Since its addition, Engulfing Lightning has remained one of the stongest weapons in all of Genshin Impact.
It arrived as the signature weapon for the popular Electro polearm user - Raiden Shogun. Its passive increases Attack by 28% of excessive Energy Recharge which is a perfect fit for DPS characters that rely on their ER stats. Raiden Shogun is considered a must-have character by the majority of the community as her potential to recharge energy cannot be matched by any other character in the game. This has become especially important in recent times as developer HoYoverse keeps adding new characters with significant ER problems.
It's safe to say that Raiden Shogun is worthy of her Inazuma Archon title. However, recent Genshin Impact leaks have confirmed that the arrival of another Archon is just around the corner. Genshin Impact Version 3.0 will most likely bring another major region to the game named Sumeru. The most exciting thing about the new nation is probably the fact that it will introduce the long-awaited Dendro element to the game as well as the famous Dendro Archon.
Genshin Impact is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently under development.
