Matching Diluc with the right Genshin Impact team and giving him the best weapon can lead him to continuously deal a steady flow of DMG. It’s a rare ability not many characters have in Genshin Impact. His low cooldown on his Elemental Skill and Burst help make it easier for him to keep dashing some decent DMG.
For this to effectively happen, players have to build Diluc with the right weapon and artifacts. Luckily, there are many Claymore options with great stats and passive effects to choose from.
7 Luxurious Sea-Lord
- Primary Stats: 454 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 55.1% ATK
- R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 24%. When Elemental Burst hits opponents, there is a 100% chance of summoning a huge onrush of tuna that deals 200% ATK as AoE DMG. This effect can occur once every 15s.
Despite its fishy aesthetic, Luxurious Sea-Lord remains a great F2P option for Diluc in Genshin Impact. At R5, The 4-star fishy Claymore grants Diluc 24% more Elemental Burst DMG and a decent ATK% boost on the weapon’s secondary stats. The only downside is Luxurious Sea-Lord’s low Base ATK, which will hurt Diluc’s total ATK in general.
6 Blackcliff Slasher
- Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 55.1% CRIT DMG
- R5 Effect: After defeating an opponent, ATK is increased by 24% for 30s. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.
Blackcliff Slasher is a great F2P weapon for any DPS in Genshin Impact. With Blackcliff Slasher, Diluc can accomplish his role, especially if he’s up against a horde of enemies. Blackcliff will keep stacking more ATK% alongside its decent Base ATK and 55% CRIT DMG.
5 Rainslasher
- Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 165 Elemental Mastery
- R5 Effect: Increases DMG against opponents affected by Hydro or Electro by 36%.
Rainslasher is the only special choice between the rest of the other Claymores. The 4-star weapon increases Diluc’s Elemental Mastery, which forces players to play Diluc in a Vaporize team composition. Rainslasher’s effect only procs when Diluc lands a hit on an enemy affected by Hydro or Electro and that further restricts the Claymore’s full potential. Nevertheless, it’s easy for Diluc to meet all these requirements and shine in any Vape team comp with Rainslasher.
4 Wolf’s Gravestone
- Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 49.6% ATK
- Effect: Increases ATK by 20%. On hit, attacks against opponents with less than 30% HP increase all party members' ATK by 40% for 12s. Can only occur once every 30s.
Wolf’s Gravestone was originally Diluc’s best Claymore in Genshin Impact. However, after the expansion of the game and the introduction of many new artifacts and weapons, other Claymores climbed to the top. Wolf’s Gravestone is still a solid pick for Diluc since it buffs his favorite stats over and over again.
3 The Unforged
- Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 49.6% ATK
- Effect: Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.
The Unforged's passive is bound by one limitation: the wielder should be shielded at all times to receive The Unforged’s 40% ATK increase. In addition to that, Diluc also gets almost 50% ATK from The Unforged’s secondary stats alongside a solid Base ATK. All that rank The Unforged at the highest Claymore tiers in Genshin Impact.
2 Serpent Spine
- Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 27.6% CRIT Rate
- R5 Effect: Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal 10% more DMG and take 2% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field, but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.
Although it’s a 4-star weapon in Genshin Impact, players should not underestimate Serpent Spine. This Claymore got some decent stats giving Diluc a high Base ATK for a 4-star weapon with a good 27% CRIT Rate. But what makes Serpent Spine one of the best weapons for Diluc is the fact that even its effect enhances Diluc’s DMG by up to 50% on R5.
1 Redhorn Stonethresher
- Primary Stats: 542 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 88.2% CRIT DMG
- Effect: DEF is increased by 28%. Normal and Charged attack DMG is increased by 40% of DEF.
Redhorn Stonethresher is a great Claymore stats-wise because of its secondary stats that grants its user a whopping 88% CRIT DMG. It also matches Diluc’s style of gameplay to some degree since he operates with all his talents, even his Normal and Charged attacks. The only downside is that Diluc doesn’t scale with his DEF, so unlike Genshin Impact Arataki Itto, players can’t take full advantage of Redhorn Stonethresher’s effect.
