A Strange Story in Konda is a World Quest that was added to Genshin Impact with the release of the 2.0 update, and it can be a bit tricky to complete. Indeed, there are several steps where players may find themselves stuck during Genshin Impact's A Strange Story in Konda quest. For example, one part of the quest centers around cutting a deal with the Village Chief, and this guide is here to assist fans that are unclear about exactly how that is done.
To put things simply, cutting a deal with the Village Chief is all about showing him the three pieces of evidence that were collected in the previous quest step. However, Genshin Impact players cannot share the evidence at random, as it must be presented in a specific order. That order is the Purse by the Dried-Up Well, then the Cargo Bay Fished Out From Water, and then the Ragged List of Goods, and the quest step will be complete upon concluding the conversation with the Chief.
This will not mark the end of this Genshin Impact World Quest, though, as fans will now need to look for the Chief's diary on the rooftop. A quest marker makes this step fairly easy to complete, and it should not be long before players are heading over to the designated area recorded in the notebook. Upon arrival at this location, fans will dig up an Old Key, which they should use to descend into the well in Konda Village.
Players will now be instructed to explore the bottom of the well in Genshin Impact, and this may be the most complicated part of this new World Quest. That is due to the fact that there is a puzzle to solve within the well, which requires fans to interact with several small shrines. Once this puzzle has been solved, players will stand toe to toe with a mini-boss, and A Strange Story in Konda will come to an end after the foe has been slain.
To note, players will gain access to yet another new World Quest after finishing off A Strange Story in Konda. This next quest is called Sacrificial Offering, and it begins by sending players to the abandoned shrine northeast of Konda Village in Genshin Impact. From there, players will need to locate some Mysterious Shadows, examine some Earth Kitsune statuettes with the Memento Lens, and ultimately destroy a barrier.
