A Genshin Impact fan has shared a couple of charts that give more insight into constellation ownership between different characters. Constellations are a common mechanic used in gacha games that reward players who acquire multiple copies of the same character.

Excluding the C0 base, every Genshin Impact character has six constellation levels which provide them with different buffs. Constellations are also a great way to balance the power between five-star and four-star characters since while five-stars are generally much more powerful, it's easier to acquire constellations for four-star units.

A Reddit user by the name dhcwsp has revealed a set of interesting charts that reveal more information about the distribution of the characters' constellation levels in the player base. According to the chart, the Inazuma Archon Raiden Shogun has attracted the highest number of constellations, but this only includes characters that have her in their roster. This does not come as a surprise considering that three out of the five game's most successful banners featured this character. Two of her main strengths are probably the fact that she's very free-to-play friendly and her flexibility which allows players to use her in various positions for different team compositions.

When it comes to C6 levels, many players claim that they are surprised to see that the Hydro user Yelan is on the top of the list, both percentage-wise and based on raw counts. According to the chart, over 70k players acquired all of Yelan's constellation which is impressive considering that to ascend a character to C6, Genshin Impact players sometimes need to spend over $2,000, assuming they lose most of their 50/50 pulls.

Yelan was featured on the recent double banner alongside the Pyro user Hu Tao. Even though the banner featured two re-runs, the two characters managed to smash Genshin Impact's revenue record. Out of the four-star characters, Kojou Sara leads the way, at least percentage-wise. The Pyro user Xinan is in second place which comes as a surprise considering that she's not too popular in the current meta.

Some comments have pointed out that the main reason why Xinyan is ranked so high is the fact that she is one of the oldest characters in the game who appeared in many banners since her arrival. Players also expected Mondstadt's infamous adventurer Bennett to be ranked much higher considering that he's proven to be one of, if not the best four-star characters in the game, at least according to Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss usage rates.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
