A Genshin Impact player has created an impressive concept that changes the appearance of Albedo's elemental skill. Each character in the game has two main parts of the kit, their Elemental Skill and Burst. Elemental Skills usually have a much shorter cooldown and don't require Energy to be activated.
On the other hand, in order to activate any Elemental Burst in the game, players need to fill up their Energy bars. Skills can have various effects, from simply striking a group of enemies, to providing heals and shields. Some Genshin Impact characters like Albedo have a field effect that affects all characters within a large area.
Albedo was released way back during the Dragonspine events during version 1.2 which makes him one of the oldest characters in Genshin Impact's roster. Despite his release date, he has remained one of the best Geo supports in the game alongside the Liyue Archon Zhongli. Albedo's Elemental Skill allows him to use alchemy and create a Solar Isotoma that deals AoE Geo damage on appearance. This effect has a large radius and whenever enemies within its range take damage, the skill generates Transient Blossoms which deal additional damage based on Albedo's Defense. This field can stay for a long time and the skill has a relatively short cooldown which means that players use it very often in their rotations. Reddit user dream996 has shared an interesting concept that would make the appearance of the skill indicator much more suitable for Albedo's overall design.
The design is based on a transmutation circle from the popular Fullmetal Alchemist series which makes sense lore-vise considering that Albedo is Mondstadt's most popular alchemist. Fans seem to like the overall design as the post reached over 7k upvotes on the official Genshin Impact subreddit. Many players claim that they would prefer this design over the original one which seems very bland.
Some fans stated that HoYoverse missed the opportunity to incorporate the whole alchemy theme in Albedo's overall design. Despite being one of the most popular Genshin Impact characters in the City of Freedom, the people of Mondstadt don't know a lot about Albedo as he's known to be very secretive about his personal life.
When it comes to his power on the field, many consider him to be the second-best Geo support in the game after Zhongli. One of Albedo's greatest strengths is his flexibility since his Solar Isotoma and the fact that he is a Geo user allow him to be used in a variety of team comps in Genhsin Impact.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
