Clockwork Meka is the standard enemy found while exploring Fontaine in Genshin Impact. They are considered a type of Automatons and players can fight them normally in addition to using the Ousia and Pneuma mechanics.
Fighting any type of the Clockwork Meka rewards Travelers with certain drops that can help level up characters like Lynette in Genshin Impact. Additionally, some weapons like the Fontaine forgeable weapons require Clockwork Meka drops to level up. The drops include Meshing, Mechanical Spur, and Artificed Dynamic Gear.
Clockwork Meka Locations In Genshin Impact
There are more than 90 Clockwork Meka spread around the world of Fontaine in Genshin Impact. Keep in mind that most can be found near Aircraft while some are located underwater.
South Of Elynas
On the southern part of Elynas, players can find more than 20 Clockwork Meka:
- From the Elynas’ southern Waypoint, defeat three Clockwork Meka then turn east to find two more.
- Continue north towards two other Clockwork Meka.
- Head northwest to fight three enemies, one of them is on top of a hill.
- Go west towards the three Clockwork Meka.
- Run south to the Aircraft and fight a total of four Automatons in Genshin Impact.
- Head west to find two enemies then go south towards the Waypoint to see one more.
- Go to the Statue of the Seven and climb the mountain east to locate two Clockwork Meka.
North Of Elynas
Nine Clockwork Meka are scattered around the northern part of Elynas:
- Teleport to Elynas’ northeastern Waypoint and fight the four enemies nearby guarding the Aircraft.
- Continue southwest and take care of two more.
- Head up the slope northwest and defeat two Clockwork Meka.
- Travel to Elynas’ northwestern Waypoint and head southwest to find one Automaton guarding the Aircraft in Genshin Impact.
Belleau Region
Exploring the Belleau Region yields 12 Clockwork Meka:
- Head to the Waypoint south of the West Slope of Mont Automnequi and defeat the four Clockwork Meka located south.
- Turn north and beat two more.
- Now, teleport to the West Slopes of Mont. Automnequi Waypoint and glide down northwest to fight one Clockwork Meka.
- Proceed north along the dirt path to find three more enemies in Genshin Impact.
- At the end of the path, players will fight two more Automatons.
Northwest Of The Court Of Fontaine
13 Automatons can be found Northwest of the Court Of Fontaine:
- Fast-travel to the Waypoint located west of the Court of Fontaine Statue of the Seven and defeat the four enemies found east.
- Head to the Waypoint north of the previous location in Genshin Impact and go west to find an enemy.
- Run south and beat seven Clockwork Meka found along the dirt path.
- Jump down the hill east and fight one more enemy.
North Of Elton Trench
The underwater area, Elton Trench, contains 12 Clockwork Meka:
- Go to the Elton Trench underwater Waypoint to defeat two enemies north.
- Turn northeast and swim up a bit to find three Clockwork Meka.
- Two more enemies are found south.
- Teleport to the underwater Waypoint north of the Elton Trench and beat the nearby enemy.
- Swim west to the old ruins in Genshin Impact and fight four Clockwork Meka.
Salacia Plain
Travelers can fight 10 Clockwork Meka in Salacia Plain:
- Teleport to the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain in Genshin Impact and defeat one enemy north and three east.
- From Salacia Plain eastern Waypoint, head to the gazebo nearby and beat two Automatons.
- Swim west to fight one Clockwork Meka.
- Next, fast-travel to the northern Waypoint and battle two enemies nearby then swim west to fight one more.
Extra Locations
For players in desperate need of more Clockwork Meka drops, there are three extra locations that have a few enemies:
- The Thalatta Submarine Canton underwater area has six Automatons.
- The station in the Court of Fontaine has four Clockwork Meka.
- Three enemies are located north of the Marcotte Station.
