Back to All Characters

With many characters debuting and returning over the years in Genshin Impact, players are starting to collect more 5-star units Constellations. Some of these Constellations can add an insane buff to their units, like Hu Tao’s C1, which takes away her issue with Stamina and allows her to Charge attack smoothly.

Now that Chiori is available as a playable character in Genshin Impact, it’s important to evaluate her mechanics and match them with her Constellation to see if she can benefit or have what it takes to carry these precious Constellations into combat.

Are Chiori Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?

is chiori constellations worth it in genshin impact

No, Chiori's Constellations are not worth it in Genshin Impact. Usually, 5-star characters in Genshin Impact have limits to their potential that can be unlocked through their Constellations. With Chiori, most of her other Constellations just add more DMG to her kit that is already stacked with pure DMG.

C1 - Six Paths Of Sage Silkcraft

  • Effect: The AoE of the automaton doll "Tamoto" summoned by Fluttering Hasode is increased by 50%. Additionally, if there is a Geo party member other than Chiori, Fluttering Hasode will trigger the following after the dash is completed:
    • Summon an additional Tamoto. Only one additional Tamoto can exist at the same time, whether summoned by Chiori this way or through the presence of a Geo Construct.
    • Triggers the Passive Talent "The Finishing Touch." This effect requires you to first unlock the Passive Talent "The Finishing Touch."
  • Importance: Low/High

C0 Chiori must always be paired with a Geo unit that can build Geo constructs for her mechanics to work. Her C1 eliminates all of her limitations, leaving her to be free from being forced to team up with specific Geo units in Genshin Impact. While it’s a good Constellation, it doesn’t add anything else besides that, which is a little underwhelming considering only Navia can benefit from such Constellation on Chiori. This constellation is a priority for players who want to team Chiori with Navia in Genshin Impact, but otherwise, this effect is negligible. However, the 50% extra range isn't bad to have.

C2 - In Five Colors Dyed

  • Effect: For 10s after using Hiyoku: Twin Blades, a simplified automaton doll, "Kinu," will be summoned next to your active character every 3s. Kinu will attack nearby opponents, dealing AoE Geo DMG equivalent to 170% of Tamoto's DMG. DMG dealt this way is considered Elemental Skill DMG. Kinu will leave the field after 1 attack or after lasting 3s.
  • Importance: Low

Chiori’s C2 is definitely underwhelming since it offers an extra attack after she casts her Elemental Burst in Genshin Impact. That extra attack is just one attack that scales with her Tamoto's DMG, which is not that high for just one hit every 13 to 15 seconds.

C4 - A Tailor’s Three Courtesies

  • Effect: For 8s after triggering either follow-up effect of the Passive Talent "Tailor-Made," when your current active character's Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks hit a nearby opponent, a simplified automaton doll, "Kinu," will be summoned near this opponent. You can summon 1 Kinu every 1s in this way, and up to 3 Kinu may be summoned this way during each instance of "Tailor-Made"'s Seize the Moment or Tailoring effect. The above effect can be triggered up to once every 15s. Must unlock the Passive Talent "Tailor-Made" first.
  • Importance: Medium

While not as flexible as Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko can still fit in these team compositions in Genshin Impact.

C4 Chiori can summon her Kinu up to three times every 15 seconds to hit enemies once each. It’s another straight DMG Constellation that doesn’t add much to Chiori’s kit but increases her ability to trigger Crystallized reactions. While it’s slightly better than summoning Kinu only once on every Elemental Burst, it’s still underwhelming as this increase in DMG and reactions is not significant enough to deserve pulling for Chiori multiple times.

C6 - Sole Principle Pursuit

chiori c6 constellation in genshin impact
  • Effect: After triggering a follow-up effect of the Passive Talent "Tailor-Made," Chiori's own Fluttering Hasode's CD is decreased by 12s. Must unlock the Passive "Tailor-Made" first. In addition, the DMG dealt by Chiori's own Normal Attacks is increased by an amount equal to 235% of her own DEF.
  • Importance: High

Like most other 5-star units in Genshin Impact, C6 Chiori gets to be a full Main DPS with the Constellation’s enormous buff to her Normal attacks. Not only that, Chiori gets to keep casting her Elemental Skill over and over again to keep her Geo infusion for a longer time. While the scaling is high and allows Chiori to inflict a lot of DMG, the Geo Element itself doesn’t react with other Elements to increase Chiori’s DMG, which is very niche for such a high price to reach that Chiori Constellation in Genshin Impact.
