Genshin Impact is a game with a lot of lore, and the vast majority of that lore is hidden in books throughout the world. The Chasm subregion added in patch version 2.6 is no exception to this rule, and finding the various different sets of lore books can result in hidden achievements and a reward of Primogems.
In this guide, Genshin Impact players will receive the locations of the three different lore books that will unlock the wonders of the world achievement "The Chasm Mining Records," awarding 5 Primogems, in addition to some lore into the history of the Chasm.
The Chasm Mining Archive
The first required lore book for this achievement is located on the exterior part of the Chasm, which is located to the West of Liyue Harbor. Teleport to the teleport point on the Easternmost side of the Chasm, located in between Glaze Peak and Qingxu Pool.
From the teleport location, players should head in the direction they are facing, past the building and crane, and then following the wooden pathway up until reaching a wooden table with a bunch of harpoon-like weapons behind it. Sitting on this table is the first lore book for the achievement, the Chasm Mining Archive.
The Chasm Mining Report
The second book is called the Chasm Mining Report. This book is located on the interior of the Chasm this time, and is very easy to locate once the player knows the location.
Teleport to the teleport point located directly above the Chasm's Main Mining Area, on the North-Easternmost side of the Chasm. From this teleport, the player should immediately jump down from the platform they are standing on and begin to glide, heading directly to the platform underneath. Tucked away in the corner of this platform is a bunch of boxes with a light source sitting upon them. Directly on top of the first box will be the Chasm Mining Report lore book.
The Spiritstone Investigation Report
The final book that the player must find is the Spiritstone Investigation Report, which is oddly the only book that doesn't have Chasm in the name. Despite its location on the overhead map suggesting that it can be found in the Chasm's Underground Waterway, this is not actually the case. To get this final book, teleport to the teleport location North-East of Stony Halls. From this point, follow the path heading north, continuing past the Geovishap that will be standing in the way and taking the immediate left turn once away from it.
Following this path will lead the player to a tent that is covered in dark mud with an oozing concretion inside. Regardless of whether the player clears the dark mud away or not, the book will be available and is sitting right outside the tent on a small book pile. Once the player has read this final book, "The Chasm Mining Records" achievement will be theirs as well as the award of 5 Primogems.
