A Genshin Impact chart ranks the game's playable characters by the number of consecutive updates they have missed. Every update in the game includes two banner cycles, each of which features a double banner. These banners feature two limited five-star and three four-star characters.

The ongoing banner cycle for Genshin Impact update 3.5 offers two five-star Cryo users, Shenhe and Ayaka, as well as a brand-new four-star character named Mika. Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed that the first part of the upcoming update 3.6 will feature two Sumeru characters, Nahida and Nilou, and the second banner cycle is reserved for Ganyu and the new Dendro user Baizhu.

Reddit user RapidFresh has shared an interesting chart revealing which characters have missed the highest number of consecutive updates. At the top of the list with 12 missed updates is the Cryo user Eula whose last appearance was back in update 2.3. She is one of the best DPS characters in Genshin Impact with a specific playstyle that revolves around building Physical damage. This means that players should have at least one Electro character in their team alongside Eula to trigger Superconduct. This elemental reaction reduces the Physical Resistances of all affected enemies by 40% for 12 seconds.

The second place on the list is shared by two characters, Kaedehara Kazuha, and Klee. Both of these characters were featured back in version 2.8, the last update before Sumeru arrived which means that many players skipped their banners to save up some Primogems for the new Dendro users. At the moment, Kazuha has been widely considered the best neutral support in the game thanks to his Anemo element which cannot interfere with other elemental reactions.

Versatility is one of Kazuha's greatest assets as his kit can increase the party's damage potential and shred the enemies' resistance at the same time. Klee was one of the first characters to appear on the Limited Character Banner back in 2020. Even though she was considered an S-tier DPS at the time, Klee has been pushed out of the meta since then.

The Geo Archon Zhongli and Sangonomiya Kokomi have been featured in update 3.0 which means that they have missed six updates so far. Kokomi has proven to be one of the best Hydro applicators in Genshin Impact, and she's a crucial part of the popular Bloom team composition.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
