Rosaria in Genshin Impact has a lot of values that many Travelers are missing out on. The Favonius Nun can provide both damage and supportive value to her team, making her a great unit in many situations. Her Elemental Skill and Burst deal decent damage, and Rosaria is also one of the best batteries in Genshin Impact.
To add to that, Rosaria also has some buffing talents in her kits. With her Elemental Burst, she can grant up to 15% Critical Rate (via her Ascension passive) and reduce the enemy's Physical Resistance by 20% (Rosaria's sixth Genshin Impact Constellation). Because the Nun can do multiple jobs, it's best if players understand Rosaria's best weapon for every role.
Best Weapons For Sub-DPS Rosaria In Genshin Impact
As a Sub-DPS in Genshin Impact, Rosaria is only used to cast her Elemental Skill and Burst. Because her ultimate can deal damage off-field, Rosaria performs greatly in this role. When using her as a sub-DPS, these weapons are the best options.
Engulfing Lightning
- Base Stats: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 55.1% Energy Recharge
- Effect: Increases ATK by 28% of Energy Recharge over the base 100%. When wielding this weapon, the user can gain a maximum bonus of 80% ATK. Users also gains 30% Energy Recharge for 12 seconds after using an Elemental Burst.
Engulfing Lightning allows Rosaria to play as a deadly Sub-DPS. The weapon’s Secondary Stats gives Rosaria 55% Energy Recharge, greatly improving her ability to cast her Elemental Burst frequently. The high Base ATK with the boost provided by Engulfing’s passive will further improve her DPS.
The Catch
- Base Stats: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 45.9% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Burst damage by 32%, and increases Elemental Burst Critical Rate by 12%.
The Catch is a good F2P replacement for Engulfing Lightning. With this Genshin Impact Polearm, Rosaria can still play as a Sub-DPS and gain more damage for her Burst.
Best Weapons For Main DPS Rosaria In Genshin Impact
Although not often used this way, Rosaria can serve as either a Physical or Cryo Main DPS. The Nun's damage potential should not be underestimated. Of course, she won't perform as well as dedicated 5-star DPS like Hu Tao or Eula, but she's a good substitute.
Primordial Jade Winged-Spear
- Base Stats: 674 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 22.1% Critical Rate
- Effect: Upon landing a hit with this weapon, the user's ATK increases by 3.2% for 6 seconds. This effect stacks up to 7 times, and can only occur once every 0.3 seconds. While the user has the maximum number of stacks, damage dealt is increased by 12%.
As a Critical Rate-dependent combatant, Rosaria greatly benefit from Primordial Jade Winged-Spear. The Polearm's huge Base ATK and its passive effect will immensely improve her total damage as the Main DPS.
Blackcliff Pole
- Base Stats: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 55.1% Critical Dmg
- R1 to R5 Effect: After defeating an opponent, the user's ATK is increased by 12% (24%) for 30 seconds. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.
As a Cryo unit, Rosaria won’t have issues gathering Critical Rate Stats in Genshin Impact. With Blackcliff Pole in her hands, Rosaria will deal more damage every time she defeats an enemy.
Best Weapons For Hybrid Rosaria In Genshin Impact
Meanwhile, if players don't want to build Rosaria for one role, then they can opt for multi-role Rosaria. The Staff of Homa is a great choice for both Main DPS and Sub-DPS, while Deathmatch is great for both damage dealing and supporting.
Staff of Homa
- Base Stats: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 66.2% Critical Dmg
- Effect: Increases the user's HP by 20%. Additionally, the Staff of Homa provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8% of the wielder's Max HP. When the wielder's HP is less than 50%, this ATK bonus is increased by an additional 1% of Max HP.
The Staff of Homa is one of the best weapons in Genshin Impact. The 5-Star weapon is comparable to the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear in terms of DPS for Rosaria. It also grants her high damage to deal off-field while playing as a Support. All in all, the Staff of Homa is always good in Rosaria’s hands.
Deathmatch
- Base Stats: 454 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 36.8% Critical Rate
- R1 to R5 Effect: If there are at least two opponents nearby, the user's ATK increases by 16% (32%) and DEF increases by 16% (32%). If there are fewer than two opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 24% (48%).
Deathmatch is also a decent choice for any Rosaria build in Genshin Impact. The weapon can add so much to Rosaria’s capabilities, especially if she’s on the team to buff Critical Rate. When Rosaria casts her Elemental Burst, she grants 15% of her Critical Rate to the team. The 36.8% Critical Rate increase from Deathmatch is a massive boost for this talent.
