Few games can say that they have the ability to mix intricate lore, interesting characters, and beautiful locations together as well as Genshin Impact does. Enkanomiya is a perfect example of these two things, and with a ton of secrets concealed throughout, it makes for a fun location to explore.

Despite being released back in patch 2.4, Enkanomiya may still have some places hidden around its mysterious landscape that some Genshin Impact fans might not have realized even existed. To help players locate some of these secret locations (and the rewards that come with them), here are some tips!

8 The Three Locus Towers

Yachimatahime's Locus Enkanomiya Genshin Impact

These three Locus towers are hidden on three subareas within Enkanomiya: Yachimatahiko’s Locus, Yachimatahime’s Locus, and Kunado’s Locus. Even these three subareas are initially hidden from the player until the Erebos’ Secret quest is unlocked, so make sure to explore Enkanomiya thoroughly to be able to unlock this quest.

The original names of these three towers were lost to time, so they’re now referred to by the locations they’re hidden on. These three towers can take some looking for initially, but they’re well worth the search, and they hide a ton of exciting lore about Enkanomiya and the Three Realms.

7 Serpent’s Heart Temple Ruins

Serpent's Heart Genshin Impact

Hidden beneath the Serpent’s Heart lies well-hidden ruins that many Genshin Impact players likely will not have known about. Start off at the leftmost Teleport Waypoint at the very bottom of the Serpent’s Heart island. After landing there, players should turn west and make their way to the edge of the cliff.

If players jump and glide off this cliff, they’ll be able to discover an entrance to a secret cavern hiding below the main landmass of the Serpent’s Heart.

6 The Narrows Secret Room

The Narrows Genshin Impact

The Narrows’ best-hidden secret could be considered to be this very location. Despite the fact that it holds a quest for Genshin Impact players, it’s completely hidden on the map and is only acknowledged as a quest by the Wonders of the World achievement list. Actually accessing this secret room will require some puzzle solving and careful maneuvering of the Whitenight and Evernight cycles, but it’s well worth the effort!

This secret room (also known as Adonis’ Abandoned Safehouse) can be accessed by discovering a Secret Room Key also hidden in The Narrows. Find the hidden room by taking gliding from the cliffs in the northwest of The Narrows. The key will be in a common chest. From here, travel to the lowest Teleport Waypoint on The Narrows, then head straight left and up onto the cliffs.

5 Vishap Research Lab

Vishap Research Lab Genshin Impact

The Vishap Research Lab is an entirely hidden subarea on the map that hides some very interesting secrets about the mysterious relationship between the residents of Enkanomiya and the Vishaps players face as enemies while exploring Enkanomiya.

To access the Vishap Research Lab, glide towards the small, unnamed island just north of Dainichi Mikoshi on the map. From there, it should be easy enough to find the phase gate waiting at the north of the unnamed island. Taking this phase gate will land players on the abandoned Vishap Research Lab, where plenty of lore about the Genshin Impact universe can be unearthed.

4 The Hidden Sunchildren

Traveller and Paimon speaking to a Shade Genshin Impact

This secret isn’t entirely a hidden area. Rather, it’s several little hidden secrets scattered around part of an area that players might not think to otherwise explore once they leave. After completing the quest The Paethons’ Syrtos, return to the Evernight Temple in Enkanomiya. Hidden in seven different locations are seven different Sunchildren; meeting some of these Sunchildren will require the player to solve puzzles, just as before.

Just like the secret of The Narrows’ mentioned above, this secret also counts as a Hidden World Quest, so Genshin Impact players will receive Primogems and an achievement from finding it and finishing the tasks that lay in wait.

3 Evernight Temple Stone Lanterns

Evernight Stone Temple Lanterns

Within the Evernight Temple, there are three stone lanterns hidden in plain sight from the player. These stone lanterns can be found to the northwest of the lowermost Teleport Waypoint on the Evernight Temple section of the Enkanomiya map (or, if players still have the quest available, directly north to the Shade that will give The Paethons’ Syrtos quest to the player).

These lanterns are pretty well hidden since they look like every other lantern in the area. However, if the Traveler uses Elemental Sight, the three lanterns will show up. These three lanterns can then be lit up by using Pyro. If players don’t want to glide over to them, try using Amber or Yoimiya!

2 Dainichi Mikoshi Hidden Room

Dainichi Mikoshi

This location is near the very center of the Dainichi Mikoshi, but it’s well-hidden enough that players may have no idea that it existed. Just near the northeast side of the huge structure holding the artificial sun is a small hole near some Hydro monuments.

After the player accesses this hole, they’ll find themselves in a completely nondescript room. However, after looking closely, Genshin Impact fans may notice a stone that prompts the player to sit. After sitting, a Shade named Kabayama will spawn, waiting to give the Traveler a task.

1 Kabayama’s Lanterns

Kabayamas Lanterns

This Enkanomiya secret links back to the hidden room within Dainichi Mikoshi. After finding Kabayama, he’ll grant the player a quest to find his three favorite ‘sitting spots’ scattered around the islands of Enkanomiya. While Kabayama gives the player a little help with finding these spots, they can still be pretty difficult to trace thanks to his vague descriptions.

The first spot is found in The Narrows, the second spot is found in the Serpent's Heart, and the third and final spot is found in the Evernight Temple. Each of these spots includes a spot for the player to sit, as well as a pleasant view after doing so. Completing this quest will grant the player a hard-earned achievement and a chest.
