Among the many weapons in Genshin Impact, some weapons are part of a certain series. These weapons either have identical passive or similar appearances. The Favonius series is one of the many groups of weapons that exist in Genshin Impact.
Favonius weapons in Genshin Impact all have Energy Recharge sub-stat and a passive that generates non-Elemental Particles when the wielder does a Critical hit. Generally, these weapons are great for support characters. Here are some examples of the best characters to use the Favonius weapons.
7 Yun Jin
Yun Jin mainly needs defense in order to boost her team’s damage. Unfortunately for her, there are no Polearms that have Def% as their Secondary Stats. That shifts the focus on her second-best Stats, Energy Recharge%. Among the best Genshin Impact Polearms, Favonius Lance shines since it’s the best weapon for Supportive characters.
Yun Jin wielding Favonius Lance will generate more Energy when her turn comes during her team’s rotation. It’s a great combo to buff her team while providing some necessary Energy production. However, remember that Yun Jin will need some Critical Rate off artifacts sub-stat for this weapon to work properly. Otherwise, people may need to use a Critical Rate Circlet. This would be a bad move as Yun Jin will be losing Def stat, and eventually, grant a lower damage buff to the DPS.
6 Gorou
Same as Yun Jin, Gorou heavily relies on his defense to boost his team’s damage. And similar to Polearms, Bows don’t have any Def% secondary Stats. The Watatsumi General finds himself in the same situation as Yun Jin.
As a dedicated Support for his team, Gorou can perfectly wield the Favonius Warbow to generate extra Energy for his teammates while increasing their damage. Unlike Yun Jin, Gorou doesn’t need Def artifacts to buff his team as his talent has a flat scaling. This means players can simply equip a Critical Rate Circlet on Gorou to allow Favonius Warbow to work brilliantly.
5 Kujou Sara
As a Support unit, Kujou Sara depends on her Base ATK to buff her teammates’ damage. So naturally, Favonius Warbow would be a bad choice for her. However, the Favonius weapons are so good on Supports, that they can still perform in the hands of Sara.
Fortunately, buffing attacks is not the only thing Kujou Sara can do. When her Crowfeather damages an enemy, she will regenerate Energy for the whole party, scaling with her Energy Recharge. So while Kujou Sara will grant a lower attack buff, Favonius Warbow will still help her to an extent. Additionally, for those who do not own Kujou's Sara second Constellation in Genshin Impact, Favonius Warbow will help generate enough Energy for players to maintain 100% buff uptime.
4 Thoma
Favonius Lance is one of the best weapons Thoma can wield in Genshin Impact. His Elemental Burst is so demanding, that he needs every Energy Recharge he can get to maintain his Burst’s continuity. The High Base ATK on Favonius Lance grants Thoma the ability to deal more damage as he stacks his shields during his Burst duration.
However, note that Thoma resolved his Energy issue on higher Constellations. So if Travelers have Thoma at C4, Favonius Lance will not work as well as it would before Thoma reaches this enhancement. But until then, Favonius Lance is the easy go-to for the Kamisato Housekeeper.
3 Zhongli
It is well known that Zhongli can cast an unbreakable shield that scales with his HP. Without any weapon in his hand, Zhongli can still be an amazing Support to any team composition he's in. The Geo Archon can also CC enemies with his Elemental Burst.
Favonius Lance is a great option for Zhongli if he is played as a dedicated support in the team. With a little Critical Rate stat, most of the time, when Zhongli casts his shield, his AoE will be large enough to deal at least one Critical hit.
2 Sayu
Sayu can add so much to her team. From healing to reducing enemies’ resistance, she is an important Support to have. Unfortunately, her full potential is hidden behind Constellations, even her best healing ability. That causes her to be underused among her fellow healers.
At lower Constellations, Sayu mostly relies on her Elemental Burst to heal her team. Yet, her Elemental Burst has a demanding Energy requirement. Because of this, the best weapons for Sayu in Genshin Impact include Claymores which offer Energy Recharge or Energy refunds. But, note that at C6, Rainslasher is a better option for Sayu.
1 Electro Traveler
Similar to Kujou Sara, Electro Traveler also offers Energy regeneration that scales with their Energy Recharge. However, unlike the Shogun General, the Traveler doesn't have to worry about Favonius Sword's low base attack.
All things considered, Favonius Sword is the best weapon for Electro Traveler when they are used as a Genshin Impact Battery. Even though the protagonist is highly underrated, those who don't own Raiden Shogun but are in need of a Battery are recommended to give Electro Traveler a chance.
