Candace is another addition to a list of niche support characters in Genshin Impact. She should be paired with characters that deal Normal Attack DMG. Other than that, she also has a utility that no one can use as of now: Hydro Infusion. While Hydro Infusion sounds appealing, there’s currently no character that can utilize it. The only Hydro units that can get the infusion are Xingqiu and Genshin Impact Ayato, but Xingqiu doesn’t fit as the main DPS while Ayato already infuses his own sword.

Nevertheless, Candace’s Normal Attack DMG buff is still viable on the battlefield, and she can also use it for herself with the following Candace builds in Genshin Impact.

Candace Best Build In Genshin Impact

Candace is a rather unique unit in Genshin Impact. Right now, her supportive ability is not really useful, but this may change in future versions when HoYoverse releases her best Genshin Impact pair.

For now, players can build Candace as a support, sub-DPS, or main DPS.

Best Build For Support Candace In Genshin Impact

Candace can be a great support for characters that rely on their Normal Attack. She enhances her team’s Normal Attack DMG, scaling with her HP.

The best artifact set for support Candace in Genshin Impact is easily Noblesse Oblige. Not only will this enhance her own Elemental Burst DMG (which is most prominent at C6), but she will also grant an ATK buff to her entire team.

Other than Noblesse, people can also opt for Tenacity of the Millelith to increase Candace’s HP. Pair it with Emblem of Severed Fate for easy access to Energy Recharge.

After using her Elemental Burst, Candace will enhance the team’s Normal Attack DMG based on her HP. This is why a support Candace should maximize her HP. If players are struggling to keep her Elemental Burst available, then an Energy Recharge Timepiece is viable as well.

Sub-DPS Candace in Genshin Impact is only worth it after players own all of Candace’s Constellation in Genshin Impact. Before that, it’s better to keep her as a normal support.

Since Candace grants Hydro infusion on her Elemental Burst, players can use it on Candace herself. The protector of Aaru Village should not be used for this role unless players own her first Genshin Impact Constellation.

The downside of using Candace as a main DPS lies in the fact that she has to use an ATK Timepiece, which inevitably will reduce the damage of her Skill and Burst.

The best weapons for main DPS Candace in Genshin Impact also focus on Critical stat. However, unlike for sub-DPS, players can place less priority on the Energy Recharge stat. The Staff of Homa gives a large Crit damage stat along with HP and ATK bonuses. Primordial Jade Winged-Spear is an amazing main DPS weapon, while Skyward Spine is great for both its ER sub-stat and the Normal Attack SPD buff.

If Travelers don’t own any of the 5-star options, then weapons like Dragon’s Bane, Blackcliff Pole, and Deathmatch can be considered. The 3-star Genshin Impact weapon, White Tassel is also great, especially for beginners.
