With proper Genshin Impact team composition, card management, a little risk-taking, and some luck, players should excel in the Genius Invokation TCG. The game provides a tutorial for people when they first play the game, but there are advanced strategies to discover. The following tips will help players learn things that aren’t taught by the game’s tutorial.

7 Properly Manage Your Dice

Dice management in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG is crucial for players to win the card game. Travelers must remember to count the Dice and plan the round ahead. In some cases, people also need to manually select their Dice.

Players can also use cards that can grant Dice or reduce Dice costs to help with this task. For example, the Bestest Travel Companion! is one of the best Genshin Impact TCG cards due to its ability to turn any Dice into Omni Element ones. Other than that, the Liben card is also great to recycle leftover Dice.

6 End Your Round

In a Genius Invokation TCG match against Genshin Impact NPC, players will always start the round first. However, in a PvP match, a coin will be tossed to determine who gets the first turn.

In both cases, the person who will move first in the next round is the one that ends the current round first. Therefore, to get the edge on the next round, players shouldn't hesitate to end their round. However, if the Genshin Impact opponent ends it first, then players should try and enjoy their endless turns.

5 Pay Attention To The Enemy

Players can try and guess the enemy's plan by paying attention to the things they have. On the left side of the screen, Travelers can see the number of Dice that they and their enemy have. Meanwhile, on the top right of the screen, players can see the number of cards the opponent has.

By knowing how many Dice and cards the enemy has, Travelers can predict when the enemy is going to end their turn or what their next move is. For example, if the enemy has two Dice left, then they probably will end the round on their next turn. Meanwhile, if the enemy has a Genshin Impact character with full Energy, 4 Dices, and at least 3 cards, then the next move is likely going to be an Elemental Burst.

4 Know The Maximum Of Things

In the Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG, there are many counters that players should know about. First, for the support and summon zone, the maximum number of active cards players can have at once is four. Other than that, a Genshin Impact character can only "eat" one food each round, and can only bear one artifact and one weapon.

As for the more hidden counters, players should know that the maximum number of cards they can have in their hands is 10. Any more than that will just disappear. As for Dice, Travelers can only have 16 at a time.

3 Adjust Your Character

There are many things people should pay attention to when using their characters. First, it's important to know that each card has a special Talent cardthat makes their move more powerful and useful. Second, it's crucial that players arrange their characters in a specific order. This is important for cards like When The Crane Returned, or if the enemy triggers Overloaded, which forces a character swap.

Additionally, players should constantly adjust their characters depending on the foe they'll be facing. For example, if the enemy has an Elemental shield, then a Genshin Impact Anemo character like Sucrose or Jean will be perfect. Meanwhile, if the enemy deals cruel Physical DMG, then a shielder like Noelle will prove to be an MVP.

2 Know When To Invest

Although wasting Dice is a big no in Genshin Impact TCG, proper investment is another story. There are cards that will devour players' Dice for one round but will prove to be a great investment in later rounds. For example, the Paimon card will consume three Dice, but it will eventually return four Dices. Another example would be the Tubby card. It costs two Dice, but after having the companion active, players can use Location cards for two less Elemental Dice.

Other than that, investing in weapons and artifacts can also be a great idea in a long run. Like Tubby with locations cards, players can also save their Dice by using the Timaeus and Wagner card to remove the Dice cost for artifact and weapon cards. Just keep in mind that monster cards like Maguu Kenki and Fatui Agent can’t equip any Genshin Impact weapon, although they can still use artifacts.

1 Know How Summon Works

know how summon works in genshin impact tcg

Some characters like Xiangling, Fischl, and Oceanid can create summons on the right side of the field. However, the summons typically won't attack until the End Phase. At the End Phase, the summons that will take effect first is the one that ends the round first. Due to how the order works, players should be wary if the enemy has summons on their side of the field. On the other hand, Travelers that have summons can also use this knowledge to properly plan when they will end their round.

One other thing to know is that the summon will trigger from the first one that was added on the field, so the attacks will start from the summon on the top left corner, then the top right, then the bottom left, and finally, the bottom right. Players should make sure that their Genshin Impact summons will trigger Elemental Reactions when they trigger in this specific order.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
