The majority of Genshin Impact's overworld content is fairly easy to beat, as it only requires one or two decent DPS characters with solid weapons. However, if there’s one thing that can annoy a lot of players, it’s certainly dying to fall damage.

With such a vast world to explore, players often find various ways to make their experience in Teyvat much easier. A new post on the popular Genshin Impact subreddit shows an interesting trick that helps players escape one of the most frustrating situations in the game.

Reddit user rierierie has shared a hilarious video featuring a fight between a Thunderhelm Lawachurl and one of the most popular characters in the Genshin Impact, the Cryo user Ganyu. The Lawachurl managed to knock Ganyu off the cliff, but rierierie came to the idea to quickly teleport to the waypoint behind the monster. The teleportation moved Ganyu up to one of the cliffs nearby where she had her target in clear sight. The Reddit thread has already gathered almost 20k upvotes.

Numerous replies in the comment section show that even though many have played the game since its release, the majority of the community does not know about this simple trick. Several players state that fall damage is exaggerated in the game and that the fall would've led to certain death. A couple of comments claim that they are impressed with the Ganyu build considering that she deals over 60k damage per attack. The player probably has Ganyu's constellation levels maxed out.

Ganyu is a half qilin Adeptus who acted as the secretary to the Ministry of Civil Affairs for thousands of years after signing a contract with Rex Lapis. She is one of, if not the strongest DPS character in Genshin Impact. Despite being one of the oldest limited five-star characters, she is still a great addition for most team composition with a damage potential that can hardly be matched by any other DPS unit.

Most other DPS characters like Hu Tao can't exist in a vacuum and require a strong support in their team composition for Elemental Reactions, but Ganyu works independently and can dish out tons of damage by herself as shown in the video. When it comes to her weapon, players always go for the Amos' Bow which is one of the best DPS weapons in the game. However, F2P players often choose cheaper bows such as Blackcliff Warbow or Prototype Crescent.

Genshin Impact is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is currently in development with no confirmed release date.
