A Genshin Impact fan has created an interesting concept in which they combine the recently featured Arlecchino with Kafka, a popular character from Honkai: Star Rail. Both games have a very similar play style and their player bases overlap which is probably one of the main reasons why talented artists often try to combine their characters into one concept.

Genshin Impact's Arlecchino was first introduced as one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers during the famous "A Winter Night's Lazzo" trailer released in July 2022. This was the first trailer to reveal the appearance of all the remaining Harbingers which is why it's one of the most popular Genshin Impact videos as it gathered over 15 million views on the game's official YouTube channel.

A Reddit user named RuisuHaya has shared an interesting fan-art that combines two popular characters, Honkai: Star Rail's Kafka, and Arlecchino who belongs to the world of Teyvat. Many fans seem to like the fan-art as the post reached over 900 upvotes on Genshin Impact's official subreddit with many fans claiming praising the RuisuHaya's attention to detail. Both of these characters are trending in the community of their respective games. The recent Genshin Impact story teaser confirmed that Arlecchino will be one of the main antagonists in the upcoming Fontaine nation and many fans hope that she will join the playable roster in the future.

Most of the credible leakers agree that Arlecchino will become a playable character in Genshin Impact once the Hydro nation's main storyline slowly comes to an end. Players expect a similar scenario as they went through with Wanderer during Sumeru's Archon Quest. This character, previously known as Scaramouche and The Balladeer, was first introduced as one of the main villains in Sumeru before HoYoverse decided that he should swap to the good side and also become part of the roster.

Despite being known as an Electro user, the game equipped Wanderer with an Anemo Vision which means that Arlecchino's playable version could be much different from her villain form. Unlike Arlecchino whose playability and release date is still a mystery, HoYoverse has already confirmed that Kafka will be a new character who will arrive in the second phase of the upcoming update 1.2.

Players will still have to wait for a couple of weeks since Phase 2 is scheduled to drop around August 8. When it comes to her power on the field, Kafka is expected to be a powerful sub-DPS unit that can apply multiple debuff effects to enemies and allow the main DPS to deliver the final blow.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
