Genshin Impact is filled with interesting characters and monsters that have compelling stories behind them. The stories that are featured in the game go back hundreds of years revealing mysterious events that have impacted the world of Teyvat.

One of those events is certainly the Archon War, which had a heavy impact on shaping the Genshin Impact world that is presented in the current timeline. The war resulted in numerous legendary stories, which include fearless warriors who are often the source of inspiration for the game's fan-made content.

A post on the Genshin Impact subreddit has revealed an impressive fan-made animation displaying the true powers of the Yakshas. They are five ruthless warriors who spared no brutality on the battlefield in order to get the job done. The Geo Archon, Morax, has gathered all of them to fight the monsters that arrived after the great Archon War. After many years of fighting, the Yakshas went evil and turned on each other, with some of them disappearing with their location still unknown. At the moment, there is only one Yaksha left, and he playable roster.

The video has taken the game's community by storm, with many fans claiming that they thought it was an official Genshin Impact video. Many of them claim putting the only remaining Yaksha, Xiao, at the end of the video to deliver the final blow is a very nice touch, and the clip has already gathered over 14k upvotes. The Yakshas have a specific and unique design with very recognizable masks, which resemble the elemental symbols of the seven Genshin Impact Archons.

Xiao was introduced to the game back in Genshin Impact update 1.3 during the Lantern Rite event. Since then, Xiao has become one of the most popular characters in the game as he offers a unique combat experience. He is still considered one of the strongest DPS characters in the game, with a strong focus on Anemo elemental damage. Players who've missed the chance to pull for Xaio had the chance to do so in the recently released Genshin Impact Version 2.4, where he was released alongside new character Shenhe on the same banner.

However, there is a small chance that he could still appear in the current update 2.6, as many rumors claim that the update will get extended for a couple of weeks due to the complicated COVID-19 situation in China. This banner extension will most likely bring another Genshin Impact banner re-run, and multiple leaks are already hinting that Xiao could make another return, despite being obtainable a couple of months ago.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Nintendo Switch version in development.
