Travelers will spend much of their time in Genshin Impact exploring the game's massive terrain. With only two major updates under its belt, the game's map already comprises three substantial regions, each with near countless quests to complete, enemies to challenge, and treasures to unearth.

Though players will often find themselves completing challenging Domains to earn rare loot in Genshin Impact, one of the game's larger treasures is found scattered across Teyvat's landscapes. Oculi, which currently exist in two forms depending on region, are collected by the player, and can be offered as tribute to Statues of Seven across Teyvat.

While Travelers wandering through Liyue will sometimes come across glowing yellow Geoculi, those who are based in Mondstadt are probably more familiar with the green Anemoculi found throughout the region. An Anemoculus looks like one of Genshin Impact's Seelie, but for those unfamiliar it may just appear to be a floating green emblem. When touched by the player, they will automatically enter the inventory.

Locating them is simple and difficult at the same time, namely because there are so many Anemoculi for players to find. These floating treasures, of which there are 66 total, are found tucked away in Teyvat caverns and hidden in plain sight. For the most part, players need to figure out how to reach them. Oftentimes, an Anemoculus will be perched on a tall mountain or post, if not mysteriously floating at a high altitude. Aside from keeping an active eye on their radars when traversing Mondstadt, players now have the option of using a new gadget, the Anemoculus Resonance Stone, to locate them.

The player's radar will come in handy, primarily because once a player is in the vicinity of an Anemoculus or Geoculus, their "mini-map" will display a relevant icon. That said, the Anemoculus Resonance Stone that can be crafted as of recent updates will allow players to instantly track the nearest Anemoculus. These can be crafted at any alchemy station, though they require Crystal Chunks, Dandelion Seeds, and Cecilia, all of which can be cumbersome to gather.

To unlock the diagram for the Anemoculus Resonance Stone, players will have to reach Reputation Level 2, but that doesn't require more than a handful of Bounties and some light quest-work. Once players have a few Anemoculi gathered, they can deposit the rare Adventure Item at any of the Statues of Seven in the game's Mondstadt region. Although it generally requires more than one Anemoculus to level up the Statue of Seven, each time a player manages to do so they'll be rewarded with valuable items.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
