Genshin Impact can almost overburden players with potential choices when it comes to building their party. From composition of a Genshin Impact team to the artifacts each character has and the weapons that they use, there are many decisions a player will need to consider to get the most out of their time in the game.

On top of that, many weapons are obtained through Wishes, the game's gacha system that players need to fuel with Primogems and Fates to keep a flood of new characters and weapon heading their way. Many of these weapons are worth the effort, however, especially if you have certain characters already. Any player who managed to get Ganyu, for example, will want to get their hands on Amos' Bow to really get the most out of the character.

To get Amos' Bow in Genshin Impact, players will need to spend Wishes on the Epitome Invocation banner that is available in the Wishes menu. As a 5 Star Bow, the chances of getting it are slim, however. Amos' Bow currently has a 0.7% chance of dropping on a single Wish, although this improves to 1.85% when Genshin Impact's Wish pity system is taken into account.

Amos' Bow is an excellent option for DPS Ganyu, as her DPS build will focus on her charged attacks. With a base attack of 46 and a 10.8% improvement to attack damage as a secondary stat, Amos' Bow is already beneficial for her build. Where it really shines is the Strong-Willed perk granting another 12% increase to normal and charged attacks, with an additional 8% damage increase for every 0.1 seconds the arrow is in flight, stacking up for five times. With this weapon in hand, Ganyu becomes an S-Tier damage dealer, shooting straight to the top of the Genshin Impact tier list.

Truthfully, Amos' Bow never stood out from the field of weapons in Genshin Impact until Ganyu was released, as few characters in the game can be built to take advantage of charged shot the way she can. Capable of firing a special charged shot that can actually be charged up twice, Ganyu is simply the perfect character to take advantage of Amos' Bow.

Players who don't have Ganyu have little reason to chase this weapon at the moment and should always make an informed decision about the best weapon for their characters, rather than trying to Wish for weapons that may not be useful for their party. In this way, they can keep a close eye on the Epitome Invocation Banner and spend their Wishes when the weapons with an increased drop chance will be most suitable for their characters. To check the drop chance of any weapon in the game, players can open up the Banner they wish to examine to bring up the details, including the drop chance of every weapon or character that it contains.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for the PS5 and Switch.
