Genshin Impact Version 4.1 has brought an immense amount of exploration and rewards for players to capitalize on. Most of Fontaine’s area has ample treasures on the surface, but much of it is hidden in plain sight. As a land known for its dramatic flair and theatrical troubles, Fontaine is a land filled with tales and anthologies that carry the stories of various characters.
Situated in the Fontaine Research Institute Region, the New Tide Anthology Series is a three-part book series that players can come across through exploration. Unlike other Genshin Impact hidden gems, the complete book series can be found within the vicinity of each other. Usually, most hidden puzzles do not have this advantage, and players will usually have to travel long distances to obtain such rewards. Securing all three New Tide Books will grant players the Hidden Achievement: …What New Tide? The book is said to have been compiled by Trendy Zaytun Peach, an NPC that players might have met during the Pure Water World Quest.

Completing this challenge successfully will award Genshin Impact players with an achievement and a Luxurious chest.
Location #1
Since all the books are within walking distance, players can first obtain Book No. 2. Travelers will have to use the Teleport Waypoint east of the main Statue of Seven in the Fontaine Research Institute region. From that point, head up the road (this would be considered heading south on the map) until they reach a small dirt area with boxes.
There will be a single Treasure Hoarder, so all players need to do is defeat him and then click on the New Tide Anthology: Part II to read it.
Location #2
Head straight up the road once again, and Book 3 should be located a few steps away. The Book will be on top of a box next to a broken blue cart. Players will have to first defeat the two Treasure Hoarders in the vicinity before reading it.
Location #3
The last book can be found about a hundred meters away after obtaining Book 3. Travelers need only head straight the same way towards a ruin where they will find a couple of enemies. The enemies will come in two waves and be a mix of Treasure Hoarders and Mekas. The New Tide Anthology: Part I will be located on a box as usual.
The Book Series does not necessarily have to be read in chronological order to obtain the achievement. Travelers can read the materials whichever way they prefer, and they will still be awarded the hidden achievement along with the five primogems it comes with.
