A Genshin Impact fan has created an impressive trailer video for the famous Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun. This character was introduced back in version 2.1 which was the second Inazuma update, and she quickly became a fan-favorite thanks to a compelling quest line in which she played the role of the main antagonist at the time.
The game keeps expanding the pool of its playable characters with every new update that arrives. Even though the two Dendro users Kaveh and Baizhu arrived just a couple of days ago, HoYoverse's official Special Program event already confirmed a new character named Kirara for the upcoming Genshin Impact version 3.6.
Genshin Impact's unique approach to character design often serves as a major source of inspiration for the community to create different types of fan-art. A Reddit user by the name JalexRosa has shared a very impressive trailer video featuring the Inazuma Archon Raiden Shogun. The video received a lot of love in the community as the whole thread gathered over 6.3k upvotes on Genshin Impact's official subreddit. Many fans in the comment section claim that this is probably the best fan-made they have ever seen. Some comments have also stated that they would love to see a long-form video that would describe the whole production process in detail.
Even though JalexRosa did not reveal any additional details about this trailer, the title confirms that it took them 30 days to create this video. A lot of comments have pointed out that it's very reminiscent of Final Fantasy's trailers and if the first couple of seconds were cut, they would've thought that this was one of HoYoverse's official promotional videos.
One of the reasons why the post got so much attention is probably the fact that it features one of, if not the most popular character in all of Genshin Impact. Raiden's popularity is also proven by the fact that 3 out of the top 5 most successful banners all feature the Electro Archon. She is one of the most flexible characters in the game as players can use her in almost any role apart from the healer position.
While she can be used as a main DPS without any constellations, in order to get her damage potential to the next level players should try to acquire her C2 level. According to the recent live stream event, Travelers could soon get introduced to a new Archon as Genshin Impact revealed the first teaser video for Fontaine.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
