Since its arrival back in September 2020, Genshin Impact has become a global success only a few other titles can match nowadays. The game is full of beautiful landscapes behind which relentless monsters are often hidden waiting for their battle with the Traveler.

Each of the main Genshin Impact regions is defined by the Archon that rules it, with bot Liyue and Mondstadt being created by Morax and Barbatos, respectively. Inazuma's Electro Archon has made a heavy impression since her appearance at the start of the Inazuma arc.

A recent post in the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed that there might be a brand-new weekly boss for players to fight against. Unlike most Genshin Impact's weekly bosses, this will apparently be a very familiar face. Raiden Shogun has probably been the main character besides the Traveler in the whole Inazuma arc. Players have already had the chance to fight her as a part of the main story quest. This is not the first time miHoYo introduces a new weekly boss who's already been a part of the playable roster.

Weekly Bosses are much harder to beat compared to other enemies, and they provide greater rewards. Upon defeating each boss, a Trounce Blossom will appear and players have to option to spend their in-game Resin in order to claim the rewards for the first three bosses of their choice. For each subsequent boss, the Resin price is doubled.

Raiden is considered to be a very strong support character in Genshin Impact at the moment, on par with Zhongli, Venti, and Kazuha. She has become probably the most popular character in the game since her introduction back in update 2.1. Raiden Shogun provides numerous buffs even while not being used which is good for the majority of team compositions.

Previously another credible Genshin Impact leaker named Ubatcha1 has revealed about the return of the fan-favorite Raiden Shogun, but this time as a part of the limited banner. This would be Raiden's first banner re-run, and it does make sense that she will appear on the same update as her old friend Yae Miko. The fact that Yae is the only officially announced character for Genshin Impact update 2.5 means that players will get a banner re-run for sure on the other cycle. Five-star characters usually receive a re-run five updates after their initial release.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
