Over 50 games are coming to Nvidia's GeForce NOW in November 2023. The platform's newly announced expansion promises to provide yet another significant boost to GeForce NOW's cloud gaming offerings.

Officially launched in early 2020, GeForce NOW is a paid subscription service that leverages Nvidia's cloud streaming technology into a solution that allows users to play some of their games without installing them. And while several competing services like Amazon Luna include games into their subscriptions in order to offer a Netflix-like gaming experience, GeForce NOW's brand of cloud gaming only works with select titles that its users already own.

GeForce NOW is expanding its support to 54 new games this month, Nvidia has announced. The company said that 15 of those titles will reach its service by Sunday, November 5, while the rest are planned to roll out throughout the end of the month. That notwithstanding, some of the incoming titles are technically already available for streaming via Nvidia's service, depending on the platform where they were originally purchased, and are only part of the November batch because GeForce NOW is adding compatibility for some of their previously unsupported versions.

One example of such a release is Breathedge, a survival game whose Epic Games Store and Steam versions are already part of the GeForce NOW library, but will soon be joined by their Xbox and Microsoft Store counterparts. I Am Future, Saints Row 4: Re-Elected, and critically lauded cooking sim Overcooked 2 also belong to that group of expanded releases. Ditto for Tropico 6 and Art in Heart's pair of GoNNER roguelikes. Since 14 titles from this batch are new releases, their arrivals on GeForce NOW coincide(d) with their market debuts. That list includes RoboCop: Rogue City and The Talos Principle 2, both of which hit the market on November 2, as well as the November 7 releases that are Roboquest and Stronghold: Definitive Edition.

This development is yet another continuation of Nvidia's efforts to expand the GeForce NOW library, which has been receiving new titles on a monthly basis since 2020. Consistently increasing the value proposition of the service became all the more important after Nvidia treated GeForce NOW to a big price increase at the start of November, raising its monthly fee by up to 40%, depending on the market.
