In the past, it seemed like Nintendo would rarely mark down any first-party titles, let alone on physical copies. However, Nintendo Switch owners should be happy to see GameStop is currently offering some steep discounts on multiple first-party titles, ranging in genre and playstyles.

GameStop currently has five titles, four of them being first-party, on sale for the Nintendo Switch on their website. All five are listed as being in new condition for $39.99, a discount from $10 to $20 depending on the game. Players looking for an even lower price can select the pre-owned option and save another $2. GameStop is also offering free shipping to the player's home or free in-store pickup.

For Mario fans, both Super Mario Odyssey and New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe Edition can be grabbed on sale. Both games have been praised for their 2D and 3D platforming prowess, and have been highly rated by critics and fans alike. The $20 discount on these titles makes them worthy of purchase, especially in physical form.

Fighting game enthusiasts may be excited to pick up Jump Force Deluxe Edition for a discounted price. Featuring a slew of characters, both good and bad, from varying anime and manga series, Jump Force was initially met with mixed reviews but has continued to produce content to keep a core of players coming back. This is the one third-party title in the group, but it comes with even more content than when it was originally released on other platforms, giving players the first character pass post-release. For 3D fighter fans, it would be difficult to pass a deal like this up.

RPG fans aren't left behind, as the final two games are Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, which can be nabbed for just $39.99. While differing in play style; Fire Emblem: Three Houses has a tactical type of combat, and Xenoblade has a mixture of turn-based and action combat; both are immersive RPGs that have captivated audiences. At this price, fans can add the two games to their collection for a good discount.

With no expiration date attached, it's unclear how long the sale of these games will last. It's also unclear if the sale prices are available in-store, but as previously mentioned in-store pickup is available. Nintendo fans would be wise to grab the deals before they disappear from the GameStop website. Spanning platforming, RPGs, and fighting games, there appears to be something for everyone.
