Redfall was once positioned as one of the big new Xbox console exclusive games of 2023. Arkane's reputation for putting out high quality games left many optimistic about the co-op vampire shooter, but ultimately, Redfall failed to meet expectations.

Even though Redfall earned mixed reviews and many were disappointed with the game, $4.37 is quite the steal. Other retailers have also knocked down Redfall's price, though not quite as dramatically as GameStop, with Amazon currently offering the game for $19.99. Of course, those who don't care about physical copies and would rather just play the game digitally can do so at an extremely low price as well, as Redfall is available through Xbox Game Pass.
For most, playing Redfall through Xbox Game Pass instead of buying the physical version through GameStop will make the most sense. After all, a monthly Xbox Game Pass subscription doesn't cost much more than this physical copy of Redfall, and it gives users access to much more than just one game. Xbox Game Pass has hundreds of titles on offer, including Arkane's better-received projects like the 2017 Prey game and Dishonored 2.
Redfall was a rare miss for Arkane, but many are expecting the studio to redeem itself with future projects. While Arkane seems intent on improving Redfall with updates, the developer has also turned its attention to its new Blade video game. The latest reports suggest that the Blade game won't be out until 2027 at the earliest, though, so it may be some time before fans have the chance to play a new game from Arkane. They can revisit classics from the studio while they wait, and those willing to roll the dice may also be tempted to give Redfall a shot, especially since they can get the game for just $4.37 right now.
