Druids are known for their affinity for nature. This allows them to tap into the power of the wild, harnessing it to their will against those foolish enough to trifle with the natural order of things. In games, these powers are depicted in various ways: control over wildlife and ferocious beasts as well as some flora, various levels of rejuvenation and reinvigoration, and even shapeshifting.

Ermion is also Geralt’s ally and always has information regarding forest-dwelling beasts that might be on Geralt’s list of monsters to vanquish, such as the deadly Leshen.

Ermion opts for a more supportive aspect of druids: he specializes in healing and would often be sought after by villagers for cures to their ailments. Ermion uses natural remedies to cure maladies and would resort to using runes and other spells to protect the forests and all its inhabitants from wanton destruction should the need arise.

5 Jaheira – Baldur’s Gate

Jaheira in Baldur's Gate 3

Jaheira is one of the recurring characters in the Baldur’s Gate games. She is a half-Elf Druid Fighter who utilizes the supportive druid skills such as Armor of Faith, Entangle, and Cure Light Wounds. In earlier Baldur’s Gate games, her starting Dexterity needs some tweaking. Equipping her with the Gauntlets of Dexterity can alleviate this.

For players who are in need of a scrappier healer who can also be a capable fighter, Jaheira is a great option to add to their party. She is also one of the romance-able companions, but wooing her is complicated, due to her previous relationship.

DOTA 2 has loads of iconic heroes, and Sylla, the Lone Druid is one of the more unique ones in the game. Sylla can link with the Spirit Bear, granting them lifesteal and armor while fighting against opponents. Morrigan is one of the well-known magic users in the Dragon Age games. She is known to be one of the Witch of the Wilds, a group of apostate mages who reside in Korcari Wilds in the swamplands of Tellari. Morrigan can use Primal magic like Frost Weapons, Winter’s Grasp, and Lightning, as well as Entropy spells like Drain Life, Disorient, and Horror.

As a druid, Morrigan specializes in shapeshifting: she can transform into a spider or a bear to strike at her enemies. In her spider form, Morrigan attacks opponents from afar with poisons and webs, while in bear form, she goes close range to ferociously swipe at her targets.

Given that she is an apostate mage, she has access to manipulate anyone with her wiles, but since she has been isolated from humans for such a long time, she doesn’t fully utilize this ability.

2 Nidalee – League Of Legends

Nidalee is one of League of Legends’ premier shapeshifters. She was raised in the wild by the Pakaa, cougar-like wildcats that live in the deepest jungles.
