Added into Animal Crossing: New Horizons through the recent 2.0 update, the classic character Brewster has quickly become a star in the latest installment of the series. This has led to players finding Brewster at real-life Starbucks locations, finding rare encounters with the character, and now apparently designing their own outfits to look like the green barista.

One player has gone so far as to fully decorate their character's face to look just like Brewster, with their friend posting a few images of the fan creation to Animal Crossing: New Horizons' subreddit. The result is a frightening example of just how far the character customization can go in the game, with several comments focusing on how odd the player looks while next to Brewster.

In order to properly recreate the full Brewster look, the player died their skin green, put on a tuxedo top, and plastered a duck beak, mustache, and glosses to their face. This outfit choice would be funny enough on its own, appearing to be a homemade cosplay of sorts, but it gets even stranger with the player positioned next to original character and sitting on a stool at Brewster's café, The Roost. It's a clear attempt at recreating something that Animal Crossing: New Horizons just isn't built to allow the player to replicate. Click here for the full set of images in the original post.

Regardless of how silly the transformation looks, the player still did about as good of a job as they could with what little resources they had available to them. Accessories like the duck beak help to add that extra level of detail that the game wasn't prepared to give them, what with there being no pigeon beak available that could match Brewster one-to-one. It's a brilliant use of Animal Crossing: New Horizons' customization option, even if there weren't enough pieces available to quite hit the mark of recreating Brewster more closely.

At this point in Animal Crossing: New Horizons' lifespan, it really is up to fans to find their own fun as they continue engaging with the game as it currently exists. Considering the different ways that players can interact with and build their own worlds on top of the game, it looks like the community will be able to keep the game alive for some time. That is, until the next title comes out and gives players a whole host of new characters to hang out with and try to replicate like they have for Brewster.
