A fan eagerly awaiting the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has created a piece of art featuring characters from both the My Hero Academia and Pokemon franchises. Reddit user Arinu00 posted a piece to the platform titled "A group of little frogs," featuring three of their favorite frog-like characters, one of which will be released along with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

There are several Pokemon whose designs take inspiration from frogs, with Toxicroak, who largely resembles a poison dart frog, being among them. Recent trailers for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have revealed a new addition to this group - a pure Electric-type by the name of Bellibolt. Boasting a new ability in Electromorphosis and a design that places particular emphasis upon being cute, many fans have fallen in love with the Pokemon and are eagerly awaiting its release along with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on November 18, 2022.

One such fan, going by the name Arinu00, took a particular liking to Bellibolt and decided to incorporate it into an art piece featuring a character from another one of their favorite franchises, an anime by the name of My Hero Academia. Tsuyu Asui, who has been a staple of the series since its first season, possesses frog-like powers and traits, such as the ability to grab things with her particularly long tongue. Asui and Bellibolt's cheerful and outgoing demeanor is then heavily contrasted by the presence of Toxicroak within the piece who, despite smiling, remains quite an unnerving sight.

With less than two weeks until Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are released worldwide, fans are busy creating art of their favorite upcoming Pokemon and theorizing as to what the game might contain, with trailers yet to reveal a new Pokemon of each type. However, with the game being open world, it seems that players will have more opportunities to catch the Pokemon they want earlier on in their adventure, with a past criticism of the franchise being how some Pokemon were only found on routes accessible after the completion of the game's main story.

Though Bellibolt does not look to have any real competitive presence within Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, many players are eager to bring it on their adventures due to its cute appearance. There is also a good chance that it will evolve, meaning its evolution might be more viable as a battler. It has not yet been confirmed if Toxicroak or its pre-evolution, Croagunk, will be obtainable in the latest set of games.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
