The way that PlayStation Plus works is that the new free games are added on the first Tuesday of every month. The first Tuesday of November just so happens to be November 7, which is the deepest in the month that free PS Plus games can possibly arrive. While fans had to wait longer than normal for both the free PS Plus games for November 2023 announcement and for the games to actually be released, they can now sign in and snag them for their digital libraries.

The free PS Plus games for November 2023 are Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and Dragon Ball: The Breakers. Mafia 2 and Dragon Ball: The Breakers are PS4 games but can be played on PS5 through backward compatibility. Aliens: Fireteam Elite has both native PS4 and PS5 versions readily available. PS Plus subscribers have until December 4 to claim the games, at which point they are theirs to keep as long as they stay subscribed to the service.

The games are free, though, so PS Plus subscribers should still grab them and try them out when they get the chance, as they may have a more positive experience with the titles than reviewers did.

The monthly free PS Plus games are available to subscribers across all tiers of Sony's service, serving as the main selling point for the base PS Plus Essential tier. Those who are signed up for PS Plus Extra and Premium can also grab the monthly free games, and they should have more titles to look forward to later in the month as well. While the full lineup has yet to be revealed, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will have a fresh batch of new games to look forward to in the middle of November, including day one game Teardown.
