The free monthly PlayStation Plus games for February 2023 have been revealed as subscribers will get four free titles this month. PS Plus users across all three tiers get free games every month, and members get to keep these titles for as long as they are subscribed.

The free PS Plus games usually leak ahead of their scheduled announcement, and February 2023 was no exception. The full PlayStation Plus lineup for February 2023 was leaked by a reliable source, reporting that members will get four games instead of the usual three this month. Sony has now revealed the free monthly PS Plus games, confirming that the leaks are true once again.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can play Evil Dead: The Game, OlliOlli World, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, and Mafia: The Definitive Edition starting February 7. Out of the above list, Mafia: The Definitive Edition does not have a native PS5 version, but the other titles in the lineup offer a full PS5 edition. Users should note that Beyond Light is the third major expansion for Destiny 2, and fans will have to download the base game to play it. Destiny 2: Beyond Light is probably the biggest game on the list, but the overall lineup offers a good variety of titles.

  • Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS4, PS5)
  • Evil Dead: The Game (PS4, PS5)
  • Mafia: The Definitive Edition (PS4)
  • OlliOlli World (PS4, PS5)

Giving away Beyond Light as a free monthly PS Plus game will allow new fans to try out Destiny 2, and it may increase consumer interest in upcoming paid content, such as the Lightfall expansion scheduled to launch later this month. Since Sony owns Bungie and Destiny 2, it’ll be interesting if the Shadowkeep and The Witch Queen expansions are offered as a part of PS Plus in the future.

January’s free PS Plus games go away on February 6, so users have a few days left to add Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge 2 to their accounts. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was probably the biggest game from January’s lineup, and it also allowed users to get up to speed before its sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches in April.

Sony also mentions that the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineups will be announced soon, but the titles leaving the service have been revealed. An updated section on the PlayStation Store confirms that 12 games are leaving PS Plus Extra in February, including some noteworthy titles like Metro Exodus, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, and Saints Row: The Third Remastered.
