PlayStation Plus is a valuable membership that gives subscribers access to a solid lineup of games, especially if users are willing to pay for the Extra or Premium tiers that unlock hundreds of additional titles. However, PlayStation Plus can also be a bit pricey, with Premium costing $17.99 per month, Extra costing $14.99, and Essential costing $9.99. Fortunately, those living in Italy can take advantage of a new deal that helps alleviate these costs.

PS Plus Premium is on the Verge of Doing Something Never Done Before

One of the PS Plus Premium games for March 2024 sets the stage for the service to accomplish something never before done for a beloved IP.

Reddit user MasterFlash2000 posted an image to the PlayStation Plus subreddit that showed Kit Kat's newest promotion, which gives Italians who purchase its 230g milk chocolate Easter egg a free week of PlayStation Plus Premium. The user said the promotion is "definitely for all accounts," so it appears that both current and new subscribers can take advantage of the deal. Additionally, each purchase of the Kit Kat product in Italy gives a chance to win a $500 PlayStation 5 Slim. It's not clear how long the promotion is available for, but it presumably ends sometime around Easter on March 31.

Italian PlayStation Fans Can Purchase a Kit Kat Easter Egg For a Free Reward

  • The chocolate egg comes with a code for a week of PS Plus Premium
  • It also gives fans a chance to win a PlayStation 5 Slim

The promotion comes with great timing, as the Premium and Extra tiers of PS Plus just added an assortment of new games on March 19. Extra members can now download NBA 2K24, Resident Evil 3, Marvel's Midnight Suns, and more. Premium subscribers can also download those titles, in addition to Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Gods Eater Burst, Jojos Bizarre Adventure AllStar Battle R, and more. These games add to PS Plus Premium's Classics Catalog, which sits at well over 300 titles.

It seems that Premium's Classics Catalog might grow even more in the future, as a recent rumor claimed that throwback titles from Rockstar, Konami, and Cyan Worlds might be on the way. It's still unknown what these titles might be, but speculation was centered around Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 and Cyan's Myst. The user who publicized the rumor explained that Konami is much more unpredictable, but commenting fans hoped for titles like Silent Hill or Bloody Roar to make a return.

In the meantime, Plus and Extra subscribers already have a strong lineup of PS Plus games to choose from. The service's best offerings at this time include God of War, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and much more.
