Forza Horizon 5 is one of the big Xbox games releasing this holiday season, with a great deal of hype behind Playground Games' latest open world racing title. This time around, Forza Horizon players will be exploring the Horizon version of Mexico, which will allow for significant environmental variety. Now Playground Games has given fans a proper look at the Forza Horizon 5 map for the very first time.

The Forza Horizon 5 map size looks to be rather expansive, which is expected from a game in the Forza Horizon series. Players can spot numerous points of interest on the map, with plenty of twists and turns that will likely serve well for different races. All 11 of Forza Horizon 5's Biomes are on full display, including canyons, deserts, beaches, and even a large volcano in the northwest section of the map.

It's worth pointing out that this particular image of the Forza Horizon 5 map is specifically showing off how things like during the Summer/Wet season. Forza Horizon 5 will have extensive weather and seasonal changes for players to look forward to, all of which should significantly change the look of the terrain. Some of this was shown off in the Forza Horizon 5 gameplay videos at E3.

The Forza Horizon 5 map isn't the only thing Playground Games has revealed about the game recently. It's also been confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 has drag racing, convertibles, animals, and more, all of which will be on full display in the game's open world. And while it's cool to see the Forza Horizon 5 map in advance, some fans may be anxious to start exploring open world Mexico for themselves.

It's possible that there will be a beta of some kind prior to Forza Horizon 5's launch, but the only for sure day that fans will get to play the game is starting November 9. At that point Forza Horizon 5 will launch across PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, marking yet another cross-generational first-party Xbox game.

Forza Horizon 5 being a first-party Xbox game means it's also a day one Xbox Game Pass release as well. So while the game will come with a premium price tag, those who are signed up for the Xbox Game Pass program will be able to jump in without paying anything more than their subscription fee. Judging by what's been shown so far, Forza Horizon 5 is set to be a massive new addition to the Xbox Game Pass lineup.
