The latest game in the Forza series, Forza Horizon 5, is about to drop, bringing with it new cars and a new open world to race in. Players can look forward to one of the best rated games in the Forza franchise.
Forza Horizon 5 is a perfect title for newcomers to jump in. Players don't have to worry about a steep entry price, because Forza Horizon 5 is headlining Xbox Game Pass.
That being said, Forza's developer, Playground Games, is still looking out for longtime fans. Its latest release includes a system to reward veteran players: The Loyalty Rewards system.
Forza Horizon 5's Loyalty Rewards
Forza Horizon 5 offers free cars for players who have played previous titles in the series. There's a different car for each title, listed below:
- Forza Horizon 1 players get the 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS.
- Forza Motorsport 5 players get the 2013 McLaren P1.
- Forza Horizon 2 players get the 2014 Lamborghini Uracan LP 610-4.
- Forza Motorsport 6 players get the 2017 Ford GT.
- Forza Horizon 3 players get the 2016 Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4.
- Forza Motorsport 7 players get the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
- Forza Horizon 4 players get the 2018 McLaren Senna.
How to Access the Loyalty Rewards
There are two things a player needs to do before they can access the loyalty rewards. The first is that, before starting Forza Horizon 5, they need to have an active save for any of the previous games on the same gamertag. If a player has a previous Forza game on Steam and wants to play Horizon 5 on console, or vise versa, it's possible to link the Steam and Microsoft accounts to keep things consistent.
There's no deadline for these rewards. If a player starts Forza Horizon 5 a year after launch, they'll still be available. That being said, If they acquire a save for a previous game after they start Forza Horizon 5, then it won't work. The older game saves have to come first.
After that, the player only needs to play through the first story chapter. Once that's complete, they'll get a notificaiton saying that they have new cars in their garage.
Loyalty Reward Excluvisity
Players don't need to worry about never getting these cars if they haven't played the previous games. These cars are also available in the autoshow, so there's another way to unlock them. Even if they were exclusive, Forza Horizon 5 has over 400 cars, so it should be easy for a player to find something they like.
