Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is officially underway, ushering in a fresh wave of content for players to enjoy over the course of Summer 2022. In addition to a selection of new weapons, items, and POIs, Fortnite is populating the island with a new type of collectible customization item: Tover Tokens.
The ever popular free-to-play battle royale title from Epic Games concluded its controversial Chapter 3 Season 2 with the "COLLISION" end event. The cinematic season-ending event saw the evil Imagined Order and player-sided The Seven face off, with four-player squads piloting the massive Mecha Strike Commander in order to take down the doomsday Collider machine. Dr. Slone and the Collider were ultimately stopped, but a new threat is already looming on the horizon.
Where to Find Tover Tokens at Rocky Reels
Similar to Fortnite's Omni Chips from last season, Tover Tokens are collectible items scattered in groups at various POIs around the island. Rather than customizing a pickaxe, the item is used to redeem an expansive collection of body parts for Snap, part of the latest season's Battle Pass. While Rocky Reels isn't a new location, its open-air nature makes it easy to be spotted, therefore knowing exactly where to go can make the difference between an early elimination and success.
- Tover Token 1: The first Tover Token can be found at Rocky Reels' southern entrance. Head to the Rocky Reels arrow sign, where the first token will be sitting on the path next to it just before the wall.
- Tover Token 2: Players can get the second Tover Token on the playground along the eastern edge of the area, where the item can be found right in front of the swing set.
- Tover Token 3: The third and final Tover Token is located in Rocky Reels' northernmost building. Head to the northern end of the POI, where the token will be found on the ground level inside.
It should be noted that rather than a general in-game currency to spend on customization options at-will, Tover Tokens collected are for specific body parts. For the ones at Rocky Reels, players will unlock the Tenta-Classic arm, an unsettlingly fleshy alien-like appendage. After players have collected all three, they can head west to collect more Tover Tokens at Reality Falls, one of this season's new named locations.
Fortnite players may stumble across one of this season's new items while looking for tokens in the new area. The new items are called Reality Seeds, and boast unique characteristics. Harvested from around the Reality Tree, the seeds quickly sprout a Reality Sapling, which yields fruit players can hack open that yields rare weapons and items. The saplings can be revisited in subsequent matches for even better items, building off the system created with the Tent item.
With over a dozen different Tover Token locations including Seven Outpost 7, The Ruins, and Sleepy Sound in just the first week, players will certainly have their token-collecting hands full this season.
