The Whiplash is one of many different cars in Fortnite, and players likely automatically identify it in-game as the "Sports Car" alongside the "Semis" and "Sedans."

But, what are the stats of the Whiplash, and where can players find it in Fortnite? Well, let's look into it.

Unlike other cars, every Whiplash has Boost by default, which is a big plus, and it also has a pretty high default top speed. In exchange, of course, it has a lighter mass and lower durability, which only seems fair. With its fragile frame and innate ability to plow through only fragile structures like small trees and cacti, the Whiplash is absolutely a risk-reward type vehicle.

Not only that, but it's also only a two-seater, making it a difficult choice to justify in a Squads game too. Still, at least it's better than the Boars and Wolves or even the Ballers at Rave Cave, both of which are single-riders only.

Where To Find A Whiplash

Fortnite - Talking To The NPC At Chonker's Speedway And Buying A Cow Catcher

There aren't many examples of cars in Fortnite that players can always find in the same spot. Instead, cars of all types have a chance to spawn near Gas Stations, small towns, and parking lots, the Whiplash included. That said, the Whiplash is also one of the only examples where it does have one specific spot. It always appears in Chonker's Speedway, in the desert-filled south end of the map.

There are always four Whiplashes sitting at the starting line of the Speedway, and it's also a zone not a ton of players tend to drop into, making it even easier to get one consistently.

The best part, by far, about the Whiplashes at Chonker's, is that they already come pre-equipped with offroad tires. It's no All-Terrain Kart, but it's pretty close. Plus, the NPC called "Stash'd" in the Garage area also sells a Cow Catcher. And, with how bad the XP is for this Season (outside of Accolade XP), this is great for grinding any of the "drive through destructible terrain" Daily Quests or Milestones. However, outside of this zone, the Whiplash is just as likely to appear as any other car.

Fortnite is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
