Epic Games has revealed the new Venom skin for Fortnite and has also announced the next Marvel Knockout Super Series tournament. Fortnite previously has held a Daredevil Cup, a Black Widow Cup and a Ghost Rider Cup, which rewarded winning teams with cosmetics for that Marvel hero. Now to wrap up the series, players can compete in a Marvel Knockout Duos Venom Cup on November 18th to earn the Venom skin and a few other cosmetics.

The Venom Cup will also allow teams to compete in two sessions on tournament day. The tournament sessions will consist of a maximum of ten matches and points will be scored based on survival time and match placement. Much like the other tournaments, there are a few requirements to enter. In order to enter the Fortnite tournament, players must have a lifetime account level of 30 or higher, and must have two-factor authentication enabled.

Players can win the Venom skin, the Tendril Tote back-bling, the "We are Venom" emote, and the Symbiote Slasher pickaxe, based on their placement and region. For example, during the first session, the top 350 ranked teams in Europe will win the prizes, however, in the second session, the top 1200 ranked teams will receive the prizes.

If players have competed in the three previous tournaments featuring Black Widow, Daredevil, and Ghost Rider, they can earn a Nexus War glider for just competing in the Venom Cup. There is plenty of opportunity to win the Venom cosmetics, but for players who can not compete or do not place do not have to worry about missing out on the cosmetics. The Venom set is expected to release in the Fortnite shop later this month.

Along with the Venom Cup, Fortnite will also have a one million dollar cash prize tournament on November 21st. The requirements to enter are the same as the Venom Cup, but the matches will be a little different. While the matches are still Marvel Knockout Duos, materials granted from eliminations are reduced to 20 and players will also have a material cap of 200. The $1M Super Cup will be broadcast on the official Fortnite Twitch and YouTube channels.

Although Venom's powers have been available in the Marvel Knockout mode since it released, the iconic Spider-Man villain has been absent from Fortnite. Now that Venom has been officially announced, he will join the growing roster of Marvel villains in Fortnite that include Doctor Doom and the mutant shapeshifter Mystique.

Fortnite is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
