A variety of game modes have come to Fortnite since its battle royale launched in 2017. LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival are three new game modes that could potentially support new crossover skins, in addition to using them in the battle royale. LEGO Fortnite uses a different kind of character skin in the form of a LEGO mini-figure, which sometimes leads to skins launching without a LEGO version.

Chapter 5 Season 3, “Wrecked,” ends on August 16, 2024. This allows players plenty of time to finish their battle passes and quests. Epic just released some story quests for players in the battle royale mode, which may reveal some things about the mysterious sandstorm that came to the island. The season may also bring several weapons back to Fortnite and a new heavy sniper that’s rumored to be in the works.

Players have voiced concerns about vehicle mods and how powerful they are at the moment. However, there are some weapons people can use to help overcome them. The Boom Bolt does some explosive damage and sticks to vehicles, and the new Nitro Fists can deal some massive damage to cars from above. Some of the weapons rumored to be coming may help in battling cars on foot, and the leaked heavy sniper is rumored to have a 3x damage modifier to vehicles. Fans can expect more news about weapons and skins coming to the game soon.
