  • Fortnite surveys often hint at future crossovers, and a recent survey has mentioned potential additions based on shows, movies, games, and real-world figures.
  • Margot Robbie, Bob's Burgers, Mario, and Pulp Fiction were listed as possibilities, though there is no telling if any will actually be added.
  • Crossovers have been a common theme throughout Fortnite's 20+ seasons and serve as cross-promotion for other properties, expanding the game's lifespan.

A survey has recently been passed around among the Fortnite community, hinting at more crossovers to come in future seasons. It's just one of many Fortnite-related surveys conducted over the years.

Fortnite has been one of the most successful viral video games ever since its three separate modes dropped between 2017 and 2018. Six years into its lifespan, the game has received countless expansions and is currently on the fourth season of Chapter 4, which is themed around heist movies. A common theme throughout the over twenty seasons and counting is the numerous crossovers with other properties, including many that are not (or at least didn't start as) video games. Many of these events are usually done to promote the other property, especially if it's gaining another entry soon, and the countless Fortnite surveys play something of a role in whether they even occur.

As posted by Shiina, a well-known news reporter and leaker for Fortnite who is partnered with Epic Games, another survey was recently conducted. The results include a slew of iconic potential crossovers, with roughly twenty entries in each of the ten categories, whether it be characters from famous shows, movies, and games, as well as the franchises themselves, or even various big names from the real world. Some of the more notable requested crossovers include Pulp Fiction, Margot Robbie, Bob's Burgers, Cristiano Ronaldo, and even the Mario franchise.

Shiina noted the probability of some of these requests making it into the game, citing the results and impact of previous Fortnite surveys. Many in the comments seemed amused by the list, with several agreeing with some of the potential candidates and others expressing concerns about certain ones. Of course, many people took the opportunity to suggest crossovers that didn't appear on the list, but given that these fan surveys have been done many times before, it's more than likely they'll get a chance to submit them later on.

Such crossovers are a brilliant means to not only expand Fortnite's lifespan, but also as an excellent form of cross-promotion for multiple properties. Clearly, Epic Games has no plans to stop doing these anytime soon, with some future Fortnite crossovers already having been leaked. More than likely, the crossovers will only come to an end once Fortnite's overall DLC output does.

Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
