Nick Eh 30 is finally joining several other Fortnite content creators in the Icon series, and fans are excited to see what his cosmetic items will look like. Item rarities have always been how Fortnite players distinguish the various weapons, consumables, and cosmetics available in the game. At first, cosmetics only had four standard rarities: Common (green), Rare (blue), Epic (purple), and Legendary (gold). However, over time, Epic Games decided that it was necessary to also separate them into series, which added new rarities to the mix: Lava, Slurp, Frozen, Shadow, Dark, Gaming Legends, Icon, Star Wars, Marvel, and DC.

Each of these series-rarities was applied to a cosmetic that fit the profile. For example, Dark Bomber, Brite Bomber's dark counterpart, belongs in the Dark series because the outfit fits this particular theme, just like Marvel characters will automatically be part of the Marvel series. The Icon series is a category exclusive to real-world celebrities, such as artists, soccer players, and Fortnite streamers. It started out with the release of the Marshmello skin in 2019, and since then, the list of Fortnite Icon series skins has gotten significantly longer, as several artists and streamers have received their own cosmetic sets.

Update v30.10 Release Date

  • Thursday, June 13, 2024

While the release date of the Nick Eh 30 skin in Fortnite has not been revealed yet, players can expect it to become available not long after the release of v30.10, the first major update of Chapter 5 Season 3. This patch is expected to bring quite a bit of content to the game. According to leaks, Fortnite's Metallica collaboration event will be massive, as it'll include a concert, skins based on each of the band members, a Metallica-themed loot island, and quests and rewards for nearly every game mode.

Update v30.10 won't become available on Tuesday as usual; instead, it will be released on Thursday, June 13. Until then, players should make the most of their time with the current version of the game. Once the update is out, they will no longer be able to find Boogie Bombs in Fortnite, as they're apparently being vaulted, according to HYPEX.
