With the Fortnite and Star Wars collab coming to an end, Epic Games has already planned out its next big thing. This time around, Fortnite is collaborating with Spider-Man once again with a Spider-Verse crossover event. Players were expecting this collab for a while now, and many of them are happy to know that it's finally here.

To start the crossover on the right foot, Fortnite is hosting a Web Battles event online, and players can now sign up to participate. This guide will tell players everything they need to know about this limited-time event and show them all the available rewards.

How To Participate In The Fortnite Web Battles Event

To participate in the Fortnite Spider-Verse Web event, players have to visit the event's official website and sign in with their Epic Games account. The web event will run from May 18 until May 23.

Each day players will be given a different task; each time they complete a task, they will receive a point toward their preferred team. Players can switch teams, but they have to do it at least eight hours before the next Fortnite challenge goes live.

Stats update automatically every hour, but players that are curious can see how they're doing by visiting the website at any given time and selecting the Check My Stats button. Players should also check back the following day to see what challenge they receive that day. They must then log into Fortnite and try to get as many points for their team as they possibly can.

As soon as players log into the Web Battles website with their Epic Games account, they will receive the Spidey 2099 Logo spray.

If the player's preferred team wins the daily challenge, everyone on that team will receive an emoticon as an in-game reward. Team Spiderman 2099 gets the Miguel's Glare emoticon, and Team Miles gets the Shocked Miles emoticon.

Lastly, players that earn a total of 40 points between May 18 and May 23 will receive Spider-Man's Mallet harvesting tool with the built-in Put 'Er Here emote and the emoticon that they might've missed. This pickaxe will be available in the Item Shop at a later date, but for now, players have the unique chance to unlock it for free.

Fortnite is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
