Fortnite Considering Battle Pass for Rocket Racing

A new update shared by prominent Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR is teasing the potential of a battle pass for Rocket Racing to come in the near future. Credited to leaker SamLeaks, Epic Games recently acknowledged the desire from fans of Rocket Racing to see an exclusive battle pass added to the racing game. While Epic Games did not confirm its intent to introduce a Battle Pass to Rocket Racing, the developer did say it had "seen this request a lot" and was aware of players' wishes for a battle pass. Rocket Racing is currently the only Fortnite spinoff without its own battle pass.

While Fortnite has yet to officially introduce a Rocket Racing battle pass, the game does feature alternative means of progression. Rocket Racing's recent Neon Rush season introduced several new tracks, with players able to unlock the seasonal racetracks by reaching certain thresholds in the game's Ranked mode. The game features shareable content with Rocket League as well, with players able to transfer some car bodies from their Rocket League account to Rocket Racing.

The potential addition of a Rocket Racing pass comes amid rumors surrounding the battle passes and Fortnite's "Crew" subscription. Recent rumblings have suggested Crew subscribers may be receiving a major perk in the near future, adding both the LEGO Pass and Festival Pass to the subscription. Epic Games has also considered other upgrades to the service, including early access to new cosmetics and new profile customization bonuses. A battle pass for Rocket Racing would give fans even more reason to dive into the Rocket League-inspired spinoff.
