Rocket League's Octane vehicle is now available in Fortnite, and many players will undoubtedly be interested in taking one for a spin. The Octane vehicle cannot be found in every game mode, though, and some fans may be confused about exactly where they should look for one. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion and help players get behind the wheel of Rocket League's Octane vehicle in Fortnite.

Fortnite: Rocket League Octane Vehicle Location

Players that want to try out the Octane vehicle must turn their attention to Fortnite's Creative mode. Indeed, Creative is the only game mode in which the Octane can be driven at the time of writing, and fans can find a spawner for the vehicle in the Devices section after loading into their own islands. Alternatively, players can try out the Octane on islands that have been designed to show off the vehicle's capabilities, and developer Epic Games is currently promoting two such islands.

The first island is Rocket League’s Octane Tutorial island, and its code is 7335-2078-5523. On this island, Fortnite players can compete with one another for high scores while becoming familiar with the various tricks that the vehicle is capable of executing. Once a fan grows tired of that activity, they may want to hop over to Rocket League’s Octane Template island, using island code 7808-4434-5127, to spend even more time with the vehicle.

To note, Epic Games is currently encouraging players to create islands that use this Rocket League vehicle "to its fullest potential" and submit them through the Creative Content submission form. These submissions can occur between October 18 and November 1, and some fans will have their islands showcased in a "special Discover row" thereafter. Players that are interested in having their creations featured in this way should plan to put in a significant amount of work, as the developer has indicated that it is looking for "groundbreaking islands."

While such an island could manifest in a myriad of ways, the developer is suggesting that it would be wise to incorporate the Rocket Boost device that was added with Fortnite's v22.10 update. It is also indicated that the Rocket League Prop Gallery provides an opportunity for players to take their islands to the next level. Included in this gallery are themed trusses, banners, statues, and lights, and indeed they can be used to elevate the aesthetic of a fan's creation.

Fortnite is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
