Ensuring the Victory Royale in Fortnite Reload isn't easy. Players are paired in squads of 4, and even if one member survives, the whole team gets to enjoy an infinite amount of merry rebooting and respawns. If players want to win in Fortnite Reload, then these game mode-specific tips and tricks might aid in that desire.

All Weapons in Fortnite Reload

Fortnite Reload sees the return of all sorts of weapons, both famous and infamous in their design.

Players new and old have plenty to learn, as Fortnite has an evolving meta that will always keep players on their toes. Yet, there are a few mechanics and gimmicks to learn outside of the best weapons that may see players become more successful as they strive for their victory crowns.

6 Utilize Squad Fill

A Squad-Based Game Mode Needs Teamwork To Function

Whilst the release of Fortnite Reload could have a promising future in which players can enjoy playing Solo, Duos, or Trios, the first iteration of this mini-Battle Royale mode only has Squads. As such, it would be unwise to go in without a team. Luckily for those who prefer to work alone, or to the players out there who simply don't have a squad to call their own, they can use the option to fill their party.

In doing so, they will load into a match with a random squad of players who also want a team for this Squad-based match. It's essential to have a team for Fortnite Reload, since without one, players will have no backup against other player teams, nor will they have the chance to respawn, since there is no one left alive on their squad to pick them up.

5 Don't Be Afraid To Wait For The Final Storm Circles

Reboots End Towards the Final Storm Circles

Too many players try to play aggressively and find themselves in dire situations. Whether it's bested by another team, or sandwiched between two other aggressive teams, there are plenty of ways to die in Fortnite Reload. Players can try and avoid this by simply waiting it out and hiding with their squad, hunkering down in a safe spot that is within the storm circle as they wait for the reboots to end.

Fortnite Reload has a few smaller POIs than the usual Battle Royale, but that doesn't mean players can't find a place to drop from the battle bus.

Near the end of the match, players will have respawns disabled, meaning if players are smart and have waited before making their move, they will have all team members, fully stocked with weapons, ammo, health, and shields, and ready to take on unprepared teams who might be a player down.

4 Engage The Respawn Option Instead Of Waiting For A Revive

Respawn in Just 30 Seconds Instead of Waiting For a Team to Win the Fight

When players are downed in Fortnite Reload, they do not have to rely on a friend to grab their Reboot Card and head to a Reboot Van. Instead, players will simply have to wait 30 seconds before respawning, gliding into the fight once more with a Common Assault Rifle to aid in their battle.

It's unwise to wait around for a revive, as the player's team might be struggling in the middle of the fight, leaving them one person down since said player might not want to sacrifice their precious crown or their loot. By respawning straight away, players can count down those 30 seconds before their team has their ally back, which could easily turn the fight in their favor. Plus, they can always get their loot back after respawning.

3 Hunt Down Surviving Enemy Players

Stop Enemy Teams From Respawning by Eliminating All of Them

There's nothing more annoying than wiping out a squad, only to discover that one of them is still alive, hiding somewhere so that their team can respawn into the match and add further misery and torment, just to be killed again in a vicious loop. Players should communicate and keep note of how many players of a team they have killed so that they can assess how long they have before a respawn occurs, and if they can find the sole survivor of this team.

Fortnite: 6 Locations From Chapter 1 That Should Return

The nostalgic first chapter of Fortnite has plenty of exciting POIs that deserve to come back for future seasons and chapters.

Players should try to track enemy players if they have already gone through the effort of wiping out their team. Even if one member survives, the whole team can come back meaner than ever. Players should make it their priority to eradicate a team that they have their iron sights on so that one more group of competitors returns to the lobby empty-handed.

2 Carry Utility Items For A Fast Escape

Use Grapplers or Shockwave Grenades to Run Away From Action

Everyone has been there when one Shockwave Grenade could have saved the day, guaranteeing an easy escape from hostile enemies and allowing the necessary time for squadmates to spawn back into the match to turn the tide. To avoid being gunned down when outnumbered and outplayed, players should make sure one of their inventory slots is held for a mobility item, like the Grappler or the Shockwave Grenade.

Each of these items will do, as they allow players fast movement in any direction. Whether it's to scale a tall building or simply to gain a large burst of speed and run away from a fight, players shouldn't be scared to activate them. Sometimes, escaping the battle alive means they can heal up and try again, or give their deceased teammates the time they need to respawn.

1 Stay With The Team

Overwhelm Opponents with the Firepower of Four Players

It's always frustrating to have a team with a few stragglers. Players need to communicate, especially since the release of Fortnite Reload only has a Squads mode. With 3 other teammates, players should aim to stick together, or at least within close vicinity of one another so that they can aid in the fights that could come at any moment.

Being far away from the team is the easiest way to get killed, as other teams might play smart and efficient by sticking together. By staying as a unit, players will have the sufficient firepower they need to fairly battle their foes, without wondering why their squadmates are halfway across the map getting hungry for kills or loot whilst their team suffers.
