Fortnite Reload features a few familiar locations that OGs might recognize or even condensed versions of them. Nostalgia aside, it's time to think logically, and understand where the best spot to land is in Fortnite Reload so players have a better chance at success in their matches.

5 Tilted Towers

tilted towers

Tilted Towers is definitely not a safe place for those who lack the skill to battle a small army. However, it's also a place where players can cull the competition, striking at the potential strongest team before the match has even had time to begin. Many players will attempt to land at Tilted Towers, but only one team is leaving alive, so dropping here right away when everyone has the same potential for loot can certainly make things interesting.

Tilted Towers is not a quiet spot, so players shouldn't feel shame for not landing here. However, if players enjoy a bit of excitement, and want to put the pressure on to eradicate another team, then heading here first is a good idea, as there is plenty of loot and zones with decent high ground.

4 Lil' Loot Lake

An Isolated House On A Body Of Water, Not For The Faint Of Heart

lil' loot lake

A cuter and smaller version of Loot Lake, this humble abode sits happily on a body of water, waiting for a few looters to take residence. Lil' Loot Lake isn't the biggest place to loot, but the campsites within the area provide plenty of chests, and the house itself can provide great cover to those who are sandwiched between multiple teams.

The nostalgic first chapter of Fortnite has plenty of exciting POIs that deserve to come back for future seasons and chapters.

The main issue with Loot Lake comes from the fact that it's rather isolated, and players are going to be stuck on this island for a moment since the body of water makes it hard for a quick escape unless players have mobility items. Either way, for teams needing a quiet start or a good position to hunker down, Lil' Loot Lake has them covered.

3 Retail Row

A Comfortable Suburban Area WIth Plenty Of Houses To Loot

retail row

Seemingly peaceful, until the battle bus drops, Retail Row can see a plethora of action or utter peace. It's an unreliable spot, where some matches it is busy, and others are not. What is reliable, is the potential for loot, as plenty of houses and buildings are adorned with floor loot and chests that are just waiting for a new owner.

The positioning of buildings in Retail Row also compliments fights, as players can stick to rooftops and fight one another from afar without fear of shotguns and overwhelming players. The mountains near to Retail Row also act as good sniper nests, especially with the llama structure made of metal.

2 Lone Lodge

Peaceful And Surrounded By Trees For Decent Cover

lonely lodge

Whilst Lone Lodge doesn't look like a very interesting place to land in terms of loot potential, it will certainly be one of the safest. Lone Lodge deserves its name for its position on the map, leading players to an isolated area that is shrouded in a forest, allowing them to loot up and stay away from the action and carnage that await more at the center of the island.

Fortnite is a game that's constantly evolving, and as such, players might have missed these hidden mechanics that could see them claim Victory Royale.

Lone Lodge has a decent level of cover thanks to the abundance of fortified trees, and the buildings accompanying them also have a reasonable amount of loot, but players might find themselves fighting over the best guns.

1 Pleasant Park

An Expansive Suburban Area Ripe For Medium-Range Battles

pleasant park

Another classic spot to drop to, Pleasant Park certainly deserves its namesake. This suburban area is filled with plenty of houses and fields, all of which are stacked with chests that need looting. Players can easily stock up their ammo, items, and weapons from landing at Pleasant Park, but they best be aware that a team or two might also have the same idea, as it's a pretty nice spot to drop into and make a home.

The decent spacing between the houses also leaves plenty of breathing room for players to explore their own houses without stealing from team members, but it also means that there is plenty of room for getting attacked, as enemy players can easily wait on rooftops for the right moment to strike, since the area is very open.
