With a game like Fortnite, players typically have to expect the unexpected. Whether it’s crazy reveals about the game’s overarching narrative, or the many insane crossover characters who would be joining ht battle, such as the recent addition of Silk Sonic’s Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak. However, even the smallest details of a player’s experience can be drastically different from others from game to game, especially when there is pizza involved.
Pizza was a new healing item that was added to Fortnite recently, allowing player’s to snack on a slice from a thrown pizza box in order to replenish their health and half a bar of shields. Pizza boxes are typically found around named locations on the island, though there are instances where players may find boxes out and about in the wild at random houses or temples. Though the most common area to find these boxes is the pizza located in Titled Towers.
User gxblinite on Tik Tok tested the idea of what happens when a Fortnite player decides to open their own pizza shop in the game. They creating their own makeshift pizza shop in a random spot on the map for players to visit during the match. And the results were incredibly wholesome.
After a quick showcase of how they created the building, the player shows an event in which a squad begins attacking the shop. However, once the team enters the structure and realizes what kind of establishment it is, they cease fire and enjoy the several boxes of pizza that were left for them. They even take part in helping clean the building using the Clean Sweep emote from Chapter 2 Season 6, before another squad arrives to pick a fight.
The entire display is incredibly charming, and shows the wide variety of ways players can engage with Fortnite. Players have been finding fun and unique tricks within Fortnite for some time, but something as simple as creating a safe haven for other players when the object is to be the last one standing is quite endearing.
Additionally, gxblinite made a follow-up post showing off an even bigger establishment than their pervious effort, meaning they intend keep the trend going for players to join in the fun and relax with a slice of pizza. With characters like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rumored to be joining Fortnite alongside their other roster of crossover characters, perhaps a fun place to indulge in their favorite snack may have been an extra level of smart thinking.
