Great power awaits players of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, as these Mythic weapons can turn the tide in their favor to claim victory.

Whether it's due to their apocalyptic scenarios, or the concept of roaming a desert, these collabs would certainly make for a great time to appear, building on the hype and narrative of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3's theme that could easily pave the way for some iconic characters.

8 Mad Max: Fury Road

Max Rockatansky & Furiosa Belong in the Wasteland

Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy in the poster for Mad Max Fury Road

The famous Road Warrior, Mad Max, belongs to the wasteland, and what more of a perfect time to add him and Furiosa into Fortnite, than right now? The release of 2024's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga creates the perfect opportunity to add these iconic characters from Mad Max: Fury Road. Chapter 5 Season 3 is heavily reliant on vehicles, and these two definitely know their way around vehicular combat in a desert.

Max Rockatansky and Furiosa are both icons of the post-apocalyptic genre, so why not bring them into the chaos to further prove how mad the world can be? Hopefully, Max and Furiosa will be released this season to further compliment the theme of Wrecked.

7 Deadpool & Wolverine

Two Marvel Legends Roam A Pruned Wasteland

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine

With Deadpool & Wolverine set to release from the MCU's roster on July 25, many players are already expecting a collab considering how often Fortnite x Marvel happens, regardless of the season theme. Yet, there's a special opportunity here, as much of the trailers showcase Deadpool and Wolverine inside a ravished wasteland filled with memorable items and characters from the past X-Men movies.

Fortnite: Best Marvel Skins

Marvel has plenty of skins in Fortnite, ranging from comic appearances to the MCU, and here are some fan favorites.

To have Wolverine and Deadpool pruned by the TVA and brought into Fortnite would add hilarious lore to both Fortnite and the MCU, and what's even more important about this collab is the fact that Wolverine and Deadpool are Battle Pass exclusive skins, so to see Item Shop variants would make many people happy.

6 Planet Of The Apes

The Wasteland is for the Apes

Caesar riding a horse in War For The Planet Of The Apes

While humans suffered a quiet extinction due to their hubris, apes became the dominant species to rule the Earth. With the release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, it's the perfect time to bring in chimpanzees to Fortnite, showcasing the true wildness of the wasteland if futuristic and intelligent apes are brought into the fold.

It would be a lot of fun to run around as a chimp, especially driving a car and shooting guns. The idea of Caesar, or even the newer cast of characters like Noa, running around and climbing across the post-apocalyptic map, makes for an exciting prospect.

5 Borderlands

Unleash Pandora's Mayhem on the Island

Borderlands 1 Vault hunters Brick Mordecai lilith roland

Pandora is filled with mayhem, insanity, and Vault Hunters. Whilst Borderlands have featured in a collab before thanks to the Psycho Bandit and Claptrap backbling, now is the perfect time to add even more from the treasure trove of chaos, with characters new and old featuring for the Gaming Legends series, or even as part of the live-action movie releasing August 9.

Whilst the Psycho Bandit might seem the most iconic of the series, it would be great to see the likes of Krieg, Roland, Lilith, and even Tiny Tina roam the wasteland in different vehicles, and with an abundance of weaponry and loot like the series is so famous for.

4 Fist of the North Star

Explore The Post-Nuclear Hellscape With Kenshiro

Fist of the North Star

Plenty of human emotion can be found in Fist of the North Star, as well as plenty of post-apocalyptic kung fu. Those who adore the manga, anime, and games that come from this series might want to see their protagonist, Kenshiro, come to the island in search of hope in yet another post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Fortnite: 10 Rarest Skin in 2024

Fortnite celebrates its 7th anniversary in 2024, but within that time, there are still some skins that haven't returned in over half that time.

Fortnite loves a collab with famed manga and anime series, so Fist of the North Star would fit right in with the rest, allowing players to roam the wastes as one of their favorite characters. Besides, Kenshiro might have a good time adapting to the carnage thanks to the Nitro Fists.

3 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders

The Stardust Crusaders Are No Strangers to Deserts

jotaro, kakyoin, joseph, polnaerff, avdol, iggy

Any JoJo in Fortnite would do, but perhaps this season belongs to Stardust Crusaders, the more famous and well-known Part Three of the series. Whilst the series is no stranger to deserts, Stardust Crusaders features a cast of characters roaming one in search of an elder vampire lord, Dio, as they battle his minions and their Stands across the world to put an end to his tyranny.

With Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Jean Pierre Polnareff, Noriaki Kakyoin, and Muhammed Avdol featuring as the iconic Josestar group, they would all make for perfect anime/manga skins to be added to the game. Plus, the idea of having Iggy as a backbling is adorable, and the idea of having Dio as a skin would also be great.

2 Batman: Last Knight on Earth

A Post-Apocalyptic Batman With Joker's Talking Head in a Jar

Batman: Last Knight on Earth

Fortnite loves Batman, an obvious fact considering the amount of skins this DC Comics icon has in the game. So, why not bring in another one? DC and Fortnite have not had a collab since Black Adam on October 21, 2022, leaving DC absent from potential. Yet, with Batman: Last Knight on Earth, hopefully, the famed comic titans can come back to Fortnite.

Batman: Last Knight on Earth would be great for numerous reasons. Not only is the story of a Batman with a fractured mind, roaming the wasteland in an Arkham Asylum straitjacket a cool concept, but the fact his backbling and pickaxe could be Joker's talking head in a lantern makes for an extremely interesting dynamic that would create one of the most distinct visual skins in Fortnite itself.

1 Fallout: New Vegas

Iconic NCR Rangers are Perfect for the Desert

NCR ranger.

When Fortnite x Fallout crossed over to bring players a few weapons and items into the loot pool, as well as the iconic T-60 power armor from the Brotherhood of Steel, players immediately began dreaming of further potential for this collab. With many iconic characters featuring across the Fallout games and the show, there's only one outfit that truly matters.

The New California Republic Ranger is the classic NCR cover image that is seen all over Fallout: New Vegas. The NCR Ranger is the perfect choice to bring into Fallout, as it's almost as iconic as Power Armor itself. With the perfect duster coat and red-lensed gas mask, this roamer of the Mojave Wasteland would fit right into Fortnite.
