Nike has announced that it is going to be teaming up with Fortnite very soon, and fans are excited to learn more about this collaboration. Fortnite has grown exponentially in the past few years, and it's gotten to the point that it's a name that nearly everyone recognizes immediately. Epic Games has managed to successfully involve Fortnite in awesome collaborations with increasingly bigger franchises and companies. With the start of the most recent Fortnite WILDS season, yet another unexpected partnership was revealed. Fortnite came together with Transformers in a huge collaboration to bring Optimus Prime to the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass as the level 100 skin. This isn't the first time that the last skin of the Battle Pass was a collab. It's always a big deal when this happens because the level 100 skin tends to be the most wanted skin in the Battle Pass.RELATED: Fortnite Players See Lack of Mobility as a Good ThingAccording to a tweet posted on the official Nike account, it seems like Nike will be Fortnite's next collaboration. Fans still aren't sure what this could mean since very little has been revealed besides what appears in the short video. Unfortunately, the teaser doesn't show much, but it does mention that Unreal Engine is being used for this event, so it's likely that this will be a Nike-themed Creative Island. This event could be just like the Fortnite NBA Creative Hub Challenge and the NBA All-Star Hub Challenge, but that's just speculation at this time. The tweet says that the ultimate Sneakerhunt will take place on June 20, and this supports this idea. It would also be a great way to promote the Unreal Editor for Fortnite program.

It is unknown whether players will be able to acquire any Nike Fortnite cosmetic items, but it's not usual for the battle royale to collaborate with a company and simply reward players with XP for completing quests. Even if there are no major cosmetic items in the Item Shop, it's probable that gamers will at least get the opportunity to get exclusive Nike-themed emoticons or sprays.

The Fortnite Nike event starts on Tuesday, the same day that the v25.10 update goes live. This is the first proper update since Chapter 4 Season 3 started, so it's likely that it'll have a decent amount of content. Due to player feedback, Shockwave Grenades will be added to Fortnite with this update to try to fix the lack of mobility this season. Not much else is known about what this update will bring, but two additions have already been confirmed.

Fortnite is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
