Fortnite Leak Reveals Fan-Requested Feature From Festival is Finally Being Added

A recent leak from Fortnite Festival is teasing the addition of a highly-requested feature to the rhythm game spinoff in the near future.

Shiina, a credible leaker on Twitter, mentioned that Metallica could be getting a concert in the form of a live event in the Battle Royale modes for Fortnite. This comes after dataminers found a text file that says “Used in CH5S3 Metallica Concert” in the files for the game. Dataminers have found similar things in the past, like a heavy sniper coming to Fortnite that does 3x damage against vehicles.

A Metallica Collab Was Rumored to Be Coming Since April

Epic Games has had a lot of leaks lately in terms of collaborations, with the recent Lethal Company collaboration in Fortnite being leaked ahead of its official release. Wolverine and Deadpool are also rumored to be coming to the game next season, which seems to follow a Marvel theme.

Another rumor in circulation is that The Boys are coming to Fortnite in the future. Nick Baker, a reliable Fortnite leaker, recently mentioned the collaboration with the Amazon Prime TV show on the XboxEra Podcast. The collaboration might not happen for a few years, as Baker said Epic Games will likely not release it with the upcoming season of The Boys. The show was listed in a recent survey sent to players of Fortnite, putting some validity on the leak.

In addition to leaks, Epic Games has been making changes to vehicles in Fortnite following player complaints about how overpowered they can be. Vehicle mods added in the current season allow cars to be a menace on the island, shredding builds and players alike. Recently, Epic unvaulted Boogie Bombs, allowing players to throw them at others in vehicles to make them stop what they are doing and dance. Epic is rumored to release more items in the future to make it easier to fight against heavily armed vehicles. With the Impulse Grenade, Rift-to-Go, the Mini Crash Pad, and more hinted at returning sometime soon. Items like Dynamite and Shield Breaker EMPs could also help players fight against vehicles if unvaulted. No official word has come out yet as to what weapons and items could be returning.
