Fortnite fans that have wanted even more Marvel content to be added to the game are in luck, as Loki’s debut is just days away. Most Fortnite fans should be familiar with his design, too, as it comes straight from the MCU film The Avengers.

While the Loki teaser image was exciting, as it featured his signature helmet, Epic Games has upped the ante with a proper reveal trailer. Showing off the skin in all its glory, Loki is shown inside the battle bus. The main joke of the short is centered on Bendie, as the inflatable character searches for a safe seat on the vehicle. Avoiding all the sharp objects, he eventually finds a spot next to Loki, only for the God of Mischief to accidentally deflate the character with his bladed staff.

At the end of the trailer, the Fortnite community gets an even clearer look at Loki’s outfit. Lining up with what players had expected, the character dons his most iconic MCU look. Rocking the horned helmet, which sees each horn curling far above his head, fans should be happy that Epic Games went with his most regal appearance. His black hair can be seen coming out the back of this protective gear, while his actual suit features a good mix of green and gold. With the villain and occasional anti-hero looking so great, many may be interested in picking him up.

Players will be able to get access to Loki’s special bundle with a Fortnite Crew subscription, making him exclusive to the service. The God of Mischief will be dropping on July 1, meaning that gamers do not have to wait much longer to acquire him. As with other bundles, he will be bringing players some extra V-bucks and battle pass access. He also comes with a special harvesting tool, as the brother of Thor can wield his Avengers staff inside the battle royale game. As shown in leaks from @HYPEX, a special glider and loading screen are also included.

With the LokiMCU series proving to be incredibly popular, the mischievous Asgardian could not have come to the game at a better time. With that show also seeing the character stuck in a suit or Variant jacket, giving fans the opportunity to see him in his helmet and armor again is a nice change of pace. While there may not be a deep explanation behind his journey to The Island, seeing him interact with the game’s other superheroes and supervillains should prove to be a lot of fun.

While Loki’s glorious purpose in the MCU may not be centered on a trip to Fortnite, it is great to see him included regardless. With a neat harvesting tool coming along with him, he could certainly push some Marvel fans to join the Fortnite Crew.

Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
