Ariana Grande recently held a big concert in Fortnite and now, following a leak, Epic Games has revealed a new Ariana Grande skin which brings a unique twist to the pop star. This new skin is separate from the existing Ariana Grande skin which already has multiple variants of its own.
The new Ariana Grande Fortnite skin is known as the Spacefarer Ariana Grande and it comes with a Captain A. Grande variant. On top of the existing variants of Ariana Grande and this new one, the new Icon Series skin includes Spooky Smallz Back Bling and a built-in emote called "Just Keep Breathing" that changes Grande from an astronaut into Starfire, a black and pink suit of armor with a long tail and pink ponytail.
With the release of the new Ariana Grande Icon Series bundle comes other cosmetics that big fans of the pop star or her cosmetics can get in on. When it's added to Fortnite's Item Shop, the bundle will include the new Grande skin, I.R.I.S Back Bling, I.R.I.S. Daydream Glider, Just Keep Breathin’ Emote, Moonlit Lightscythe Pickaxe, and Spooky Smallz Back Bling. With all of the items included, it's likely that this Icon Series Bundle will cost 2,800 V-Bucks.
Ariana Grande is currently on the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 map as an NPC who gives players quests and sings to them when they complete quests. The pop star can be found riding a floating unicorn around Believer Beach. The new NPC also offers an additional punchcard which is called Ariana Grande's Monster Hunter questline. Each stage of this questline will reward players with 30,000 experience, making it an enticing punchcard to complete in order to progress through Fortnite's Season 8 Battle Pass.
Epic Games is known for hosting Fortnite tournaments in anticipation of upcoming skins in order for fans to get their hands on it for free, but it doesn't look like the new Ariana Grande skin will be featured in a tournament. The current Cups in the Fortnite "Compete" menu are various rounds of FNCS, Cash Cups, and Hype Cups that take place throughout Fortnite's Halloween 2021 celebrations. The new Ariana Grande Icon Series Bundle is expected to be released between now and the next Fortnite update which releases on October 29.
Epic Games unveiled other skins coming to Fortnite Season 8's Fortnitemares. During a recent trailer, it also teased a new Mummy skin, the Pharoh Raven known as Graven, and Season 8's secret Battle Pass skin, the Cube Queen. Fortnite fans will be able to complete Fortnitemares challenges in order to unlock free new cosmetics such as the Cube Cruiser Glider, Raven's Curse Spray, and Wrathful Breakout Contrail.
Fortnite is available right now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
